now that ghosts have mods the next logical step is sparrow mods. sparrow mods would be perfect for the return of srl. its all lining up perfectly.
it would have helped if the weapons that stayed had refreshed perk pools. that way next time i get a dire promise i might care.
Yep, the few weapons left I already have good rolls on. I literally haven't got a single piece of new loot I have kept. That's not good.
that new vanguard shotgun seems nice. couple of the europa weapons are solid but i have no interesting rolls. hoping the RL is good with chain reaction
I have found a build I like. Warlock + stasis + monte carlo + claws of ahamkara = everything is frozen.
It's pretty good. I haven't really messed with it too much but I've heard it's pretty strong in the right builds.
Super cool running with a fire team and complete praxis and it doesn’t count because I’m not the fire team leader. Fuck you Bungie so hard
There are plenty of PS4 nerds here too. In the meantime keep running strikes/crucible/gambit to level up
ive been thinking about that. definitely been using monte carlo but havent added the claws yet. monte carlo does some underwhelming damage.
Yeah, that definitely holds it back. That's another major complaint I have with this season. It didn't add any catalyst for older weapons. Still so many that need one.
so i'm pretty sure this trilogy of dlc will give us three darkness subclasses. i imagine some sort of corruption/poison/something green will be next since we already have a few things that would fit into that
Yeah, I could see that. Apparently the new warlock gauntlets work with thorn and are incredible. I want them badly. Got to get my light up so I can solo this lost sector.
Yeah, they made a lot of QoL improvements. Unfortunately for me it's completely overshadowed by the giant mistake they made.
Anyone working on unlocking other characters stasis? Debating grinding for level or just unlocking all characters stasis
stasis is a great addition they removed shit no one played huge step forward in narrative not having another fast travel point on europa doesnt justify a $30 price point. this was supposed to be d3. d3 would have caused us to lose everything. just be thankful that didnt happen.
If this was supposed to be D3 it would have been a disaster. They added very little content in the grand scheme of things. And nuking 75% of our arsenal while not even being bothered to reissue some old y1 stuff or something to lessen the blow. I'm sort of enjoying the expansion but certainly not to the extent I was hoping to.
they added as much as any other major expansion, they just also took away shit. 98% of that content wasnt used.
I don't they did. They added zero new strikes, zero new crucible maps, zero new gambit maps, and a laughably small loot pool to accompany it. I get we'll probably never get anything close to Forsaken again and that making new shit is hard. So with that in mind, maybe they shouldn't have taken such a large chunk at one. Use a scalpel instead of a hatchet. But that is the Bungie way. At this point it's abundantly clear that Luke Smith is a moron and I don't really understand how he got his position.
there may be no new crucible maps but we already have far too many there may be no new gambit maps but no one even likes gambit but theres definitely new strikes. disgraced may take the same path that will of crota did but its very different
Ahh, I did forget about the new strike. It's actually a good strike too. Still overall I couldn't be more lukewarm on this expansion as a whole. Hopefully in the coming weeks we get some more shit to do.
I’ve only played a little portion of the free-to-play stuff. I’ll purchase once I can get my hands on a PS5.
i personally have an overwhelimg amount of shit to do. bit of advice: dont pick the celrucible variant of the fragment quests more advice: definitely dont delete them expecting to be able to pick up more because you cant until the next week
I did the strike versions. I honestly ran out of stuff this week. Completed all my powerfuls, all my stasis upgrades, and crucible is a shit show so no thanks on that. So I just went back to playing Miles Morales. Almost unheard for me in week one of a new expansion.
ive been really enjoying my time in the crucible. only as a warlock. with monte carlo. and claws. stasis is really great in pve. and roaming supers needed a hard counter. but it needs to be tuned back a bit in pvp for sure.
Crucible is just bad right now. Bungies always trying to bring that skill floor up. They've definitely succeeded.
so far i like the aesthetic of it all quite a bit. this lure thing, all these mods and whatnot, could be a really interesting way to grind some stuff. but we'll see if the loot pool has things worth grinding for.
Played with user nexus the other day, we were getting stasis grenaded like 60% of the time. Guaranteed kill almost every time. Finally got a rocket launcher with ambitious assassin on it, pretty sweet to have 2 in the chamber.
Agreed. 2 should be the minimum then some exotics and certain perks should allow for more. As it is now I will never use a RL for anything outside of crucible.
