So what the bare minimum to do the new raid? Haven’t played this season much at all but I want to at least do the new raid at some point. I just can’t bring myself to reach grind Destiny anymore with so many other games.
New season looks cool. I’ll jump back in but Destiny is really hard to play with no pause feature and a baby
So far none of the recent twabs have been all that encouraging. Stasis continues to absolutely shit on crucible. It's just not fun at all anymore. And outside of that there's nothing really to do in the game. The Hawkmoon mission was cool for a week I guess.
Precisely. They are stale and even less fun than they used to be. Everything in the game is stupid easy right now outside of the GM Nightfalls and even those have zero reason to run them. I want good loot to chase from difficult activities. I want to see someone with a weapon or piece of armor and be impressed.
whats really going to be fun is when cross play comes with no opt out for pvp, which is definitely whats going to happen because theyre clearly prepping for such. which is fine by me because modern aim assist makes controllers pretty equal to kb/m unless youre just at the top of top tier at kb/m. many are going to be upset, but ej fuck it crucible has always been a bit of disaster.
The cheating is what's going to suck. But I'm pretty sure Sony requires opt out so we should be fine. Xbox going to get fucked though.

a lot of the new weapons are really good and many old ones had updated perk pools. battlegrounds are pretty fun, the best seasonal activity in a while. the vendor changes are nice, as are the ui changes. umbrals were really great and im glad theyre back. challenges are much better than weekly bounties.
Yep. Some really nice weapons to chase. I've already used some of the seasonal weapons more than I used any seasonal weapon last season. The smg with frenzy is incredible. Salvo's Salvager is the best pinnacle since recluse.
no quite on the level of pc even after the nerf there but much closer. that nerf/buff is what makes it obvious that they're close to full crossplay.
I think it's better on PS5 with the wider fov. I noticed a big difference when I made the jump and now they are just laser beams. It's funny though. They did sunsetting because of mountaintop+recluse. Now I'm just using a different smg/gl combo.
Stasis is still king for hunter and titan. They nerfed warlock stasis. I don't even know what's good for it right now.
So basically taking my warlock all the way through everything was pointless now that the Hunter and Titan classes are far superior and I have to start from the beginning to get them caught up to be able to even compete in the new season. Good job Bungie
I liked stasis in pve quite a bit. But they nerfed the warlock pretty hard. I'm running chaos reach for now.
anytime i think about running stasis i think of a non stasis class that does what im trying to do better
did trials over the weekend. and by "did trials" i mean we tried to lose as quickly as possible to finish the weekly bounty that gives you a drop. decent roll on the messenger. will be doing that again.
Ran it as well. Got got to four wins a couple of times but couldn't get to five. Should have had it once but one of our guys was playing like an idiot.
Exotic quest up. Go to the Nightfall and go to the right. There is a door open and you kill a cabal guy to trigger it.
I like it. Feels really nice and I like the reload mechanic (as a chronic obsessive reloader). Mission is cool and soloable with patience on the boss. Did it at 1287 w artifact.
Ran it a second time and got one with outlaw. Was hoping for one with Fourth Times the Charm for pve or moving target for PvP.
