Have to say, I'm really liking this season so far. Snowed in so spent most of the day farming Palindrome. Feels good to have stuff to chase.
i've been running a sunbracers/top tree/all the warmind mods build. really fun so far. it definitely has some issues such as "does cellular suppression make all of the other mods pointless?" but idc i just like sunbracers.
That’s what I was afraid of. Need to grind some gold to get the hammer anyways. Figure that and a few battleground runs should get me in range to solo it.
Also realized I have full seraph armor. Should I just be wearing that and running with all my Ikeos and seraph weapons? Pretty sure I have them all now
Ok. So I ran a strike and battleground and bounced up to almost 1240 so may grind a bit after Hawkmoon and see where I’m at. Trying to get as much in as possible in between our son’s naps and solo play time. It’s one reason I love the new AC is you can pause.
Got through the Hawkmoon mission and onto orb grind. Master worked my ikeos sub to help. Really enjoying this season. The battleground areas are great. I took a long break but Valhalla is something I can let sit and I’ve given up in ever being able to play cyberpunk. If I can get into a late night evening raid group I’d play a lot more. I have free reign to play all fri and sat nights
so, just a thought...you guys think mythoclast will actually come back with vog or will they use a different/less broken exotic?
If it’s back it won’t be as powerful. Same with all the vault weapons. I’d plan on those being more nostalgia adds than anything else.
They've already confirmed all the VoG gear is coming back. For the most part they've done a great job of making the D1 guns great without being OP.
something i lost in this whole bungie expansion news....luke smith will no longer be in charge of destiny
Yep, I thought that was excellent news. Scarab Lord is a dipshit that wants to make Destiny like Magic the Gathering.
That's his nickname on Reddit. I guess it goes back to his days of being a WoW player. I never played WoW so not exactly sure. But he's always referencing Magic the Gathering when talking about Destiny and I just think it's a terrible direction to take the game.
im just struggling to see any similarities between the two, so if thats what hes doing hes failing more miserably than i thought
Exactly. But that was his whole theory for sunsetting. I guess they retire cards in Magic or something like that.
yeah, the "standard" rule sets for most ccgs have cards rotate out every 1-2 years depending on the game. and tbh it working there is why i'm fine with it in destiny, it was just a disaster to get going.
It's better this season but still shit overall. Still getting a lot of reissues and what not which I'm not okay with.
Still too many. Especially with the trials weapons b they aren't even retired yet and they've already reissued them. That's unacceptable.
well you're just going to have to accept that will never change. because it doesn't need to. we have plenty of new weapons this season. and if our option is to have only new weapons or have those plus a bunch of reprints with new rolls i'll take the latter option everyday.
hah, they're doing away with sunsetting. Also the silly 50 power climb each season. Starting to get rid of the Luke Smith stuff.
Good riddance to sunsetting. Was a stupid idea that never fit destiny. Also love to see some good changes the second we learn Luke Smith is gone. Coincidence? Doubtful.
Yeah, great mission. Not quite on the level of Zero Hour or Whisper but damn close. Great lore and an amazing weapon. I've been cowboying it up in crucible.
What's funny is this has been happening the entire time trials has been back. Not sure why it's just not catching notice.
Has it? Recovs have always been a thing but I’ve never heard of anything this highly coordinated and certainly not on this massive of a scale.
Not on this scale but win trading and forced matchmaking have been around for a while. It's how a lot of those sites that sell recovs do it.
Yes. The mission itself isn’t hard once you get the path figured out. Flawlessed the master version with 2 ransoms from LFG
dont look now but theyre balancing pve and pvp differently now the post luke smith era is going to be just fantastic
Definitely liking a lot of what I've heard lately. I still have a feeling the changes they have made won't be enough because of how slow works in PvP but it's a start.
Fucking sick of them cancelling trials. Who gives a shit if people are win trading. I just want o actually get to play the god damn mode.
meh the game mode is so fucking broken nobody gives a shit any more. Just get rid of it all together Or better yet totally severe the pve & pvp portions of the game and make them separate entities altogether
