Destiny 2 - PS4

after last weeks update i turned on ps4, clicked on update destiny 2 and it started updating. i left it on. i turn on today to delete mods cuz i saw something about doing that, just in case i decide to play, and i have 42 gb to download still.. wtf ps4?

so yeah i'm done with this game.

 

It’s something to do with PlayStation. If my tv turns off even in rest mode my ps turns off as well

my understanding was that last week was the main forsaken update so that you'd be ready for the unlock today. seems stupid to update 32+ gb one week and then the next week add on another update for that amount just for the content day of basically.

 

It was 7 gigs today if you had downloaded the update last week

 

Just started new mission. Oh man, my nipples!

 

I just downloaded the 7 gig update and now this stupid fucking thing is saying it is copying the update file. Been doing it for a few minutes and just now at 10% what the fuck is this crap?

 

I'm gonna kill every motherfucking thing in the reef and teabag everyone one of these fuckers. These fuckers have no idea the hell they have unleashed.

Campaign isn't giving out much loot, but it's definitely fun.

 

Knocked.out like the first two missions and enjoyed them.

I hate having to get those damn mats for infusing though.

 

Really enjoying the campaign. Have gone up nearly 100 light in 2 days of playing. Probably about 6 hours. Started as like a 350. Think I’m at the point where I might have to start grinding for gear cause I heard the campaign gets tough. Playing solo for now.

 

That’s what I’m doing before I finish the last 4 barons. Just did public events and adventures.

 

I’m at the barons as well. Have gone through 3 of them.

 

I havent started the barons yet. Just been trying to do other things. Are there no more planet based challanges? I couldn't see any last night.

 

Mindbender Baron was the best one imo.

 

I did the pike one and Trickster since they were the lowest light levels. I like how they didn’t just make it a straight through storyline

 

Grinded out the Ace of Spades quest last night. Probably my favorite hand cannon in Destiny 2.

 

Worse than the mats is the masterwork cores.

 

So what's the best way to level up and get raid ready now that the story is done?

 

Just doing the milestones as far as I can tell. There are a ton of them now. I've been playing a lot and haven't got them all finished.

I haven't really read to see if there are any tricks to make it go faster.

 

I thought the same thing about the milestones but it turns out they're all "Talk to X" who then gives you random bounties to complete that aren't even awarding max level shit.

 

Aren't the bounties for powerful gear? The Spider one is supposed to be.

 

The few I've completed have given 490-500 level stuff

Maybe I haven't ventured far enough

 

think you're supposed to do everything that offers "powerful gear" and spend time in the new post-campaign zone. probably grind public events, crucible, strikes; like usual.

heard the new area is awesome, but very tough. back to being excited about playing. i miss the D1 days.

 

This is as good as D1 in a lot of ways. Even better in some in my opinion.

 

can someone explain the lore behind having a prison for the baddest enemies in the universe and yet you just kill every enemy you see in these games without due process? where the hell is the justice in the destiny universe?

Trying Mad Bomber now. Really enjoying how they laid this dlc out compared to their last ones.
Edit: yeah 439 on a 410 baron isn’t enough. Shows enemy levels at a 439 when I get killed.

Looks like the bug that messed up the weekly reset has been fixed. So should have all of the milestones now.

 

We either need to add the new folks to the TMB clan or I'm gonna have to join one of yalls. So many bounties and stuff I cant do because no TMB clan folks are ever on.

My clan I had joined at the beginning of D2 has pretty much died. So many players left after the game flopped.

 

Join tmb then. You still have enough of us to get the weekly clan rewards
