oh, sorry, EVGA's stuff is coming with Destiny 2 free right now. edit: looks like it's any of their 1080 or 1080 TI cards.
Just pre-ordered. How do I preload this bitch? Apparently I'm dumb. Edit: NM. Figured it out by clicking on where it said other people had already played it.
fuck man. it's telling me i've failed to download configuration files from the bungie servers. i thought i already had this shit set a couple days ago. error code : termite. destiny 2 not starting well for me.
liked what I played so far while on lunch, which was the first mission with the Titan and Warlock. New Warlock super doesn't last long enough, everything else felt good. I'll be back on around 4 central.
Just tuned into the ign guys streaming pvp and realized that I need a new hobby before I get as old as those twats
i like all i played so far. story missions are pretty great. strike was tough but well done i thought.
Can I preorder this now and still get beta access? Also if you preorder do you have to buy the digital copy? I only like the discs.
If you do it digitally you automatically get beta access. Read if you buy hard copies it takes a couple days so you might still make it but not sure.
It's open to everyone in a couple of days making the preorder somewhat pointless so do digital or just wait for access to open up to everyone.
No, because ive been in a car for about 10 hours and dont want to go out of my way. Probably other reasons too but that is number 1
Homecoming was great Wasnt really excited about 4v4 but im really enjoying the control I also like that they have the names for the areas on each pvp map on screen. Never bothered to learn the callouts before.
It's Destiny Warlock has a bit of a healer aspect plus it's ult is p sweet. Probably roll that outta the gate. Like sub machine guns because I'm lazy and don't aim down a ton in Destiny and the hip fire on subs is amaze. 4 v 4 is fucking gay
dude crucible feels better in this fucking beta than it ever did in d1. absolutely loving it. i too love the new warlock because i am a healer at heart, will def main that. it is destiny and it is glorious
read that The Farm (new "tower") will be opened for only 1 hour at 10 PST to 11 PST on Sunday. basically just testing matchmaking in the social space so not gonna be open long at all.
countdown feels like it was designed for keyboard and mouse. not surprising since the competitive fps market is on pc. still really fun with a controller. just bought a 144hz monitor, can't wait to push d2 there
Its just a number, who cares what it is. Maps are small and designed around team fights. Shit plays great. The smaller the number the less likely i get paired with someone who insists on playing bastion on 2cp attack. Wait, what game is this again?
It takes way too many shots to kill people in the crucible. It's almost double what it was in D1. I'm fine with it being a little higher than what it was, but it's fairly ridiculous right now.
I disagree, there's too many shooters out there that play like that, especially in the comp scene. Being alive is more fun than being dead, that's one of the reasons I love Overwatch so much. Plus these classes feel like they actually belong in an rpg this time around and with that comes more survivability. Only thing I've really noticed would be pulse rifle damage seems too low
The best weapons in the Beta are pulse rifles...all the competitive streamers are running either the kinetic one or the void version. Followed by Hand cannons.
It's all about range. Play a little further back with the pulse and then switch to the AR when you get close. That is the one thing I will say so far about the Beta is they have the effective range down pretty well. You aren't mapping people with hand cannons or ARs, and you will get wrecked trying to run a pulse or scout close quarters.
I think something needs to be done in crucible that makes hunters less op. Maybe give everyone the ability to jump like a hunter in pvp
