ok cross save is a sweet feature but it kinda sucks you have to buy each xpac for each platform. give me cross save and play.
Picked this up with the free download. Played a small part of the first one but overall new. From what I have read....best to just start the original campaign. Any must knows to start this? I’ve read a couple beginners guide but thought I would ask the boards advice as well.
Would definitely recommend playing through the campaigns just to get a feel for the game and the mechanics.
Finished all my weeklies just about and hit 914. How high do you have to be to survive the raid? Also is it worth going back to do the warmind / forsaken campaigns for any reason? Items etc that I'm missing out on. Also wtf are the forges?
probably need to be 930+ to raid, maybe less, still havent done it so im not sure forsaken probably, warmind no but its incredibly short so might as well forges are the black armory activity. it used to be a terrible grind to unlock but i think maybe now you only have to do 1/4 of it to unlock everything. some good guns to get from there.
i'd say do all the campaigns after shadowkeep just to do them and unlock all the activities. not necessary, but i'm sure there's some exotics, etc. that are worth going back for.
Nothing special. Just doing my power drops and getting the prime engrams. Got some extra ones through playing crucible and what not.
what tier are prime engrams? i know tier 1 powerfuls give you 1-2 light more. wasn't sure about primes now.
It's based number of kills I believe. It's something like every 2000 kills or something like that. PvP and majors count for more. That's what I read on Reddit a while ago. There are some power drops that are t well known like you can get two a week for summoning the Overlord during a vex invasion on the moon. Those are both like tier 3 drops I believe.
Riskrunner seems really good in pvp. Just won two crucible matches running it and I got destroyed during the beta in pvp.
i barely have to try to combat recoil on PC and on PS4 i basically have to burst fire because recoil goes crazy with the same gun.
Yeah, it's so much worse on console. It was a lot different on D1. At least they fixed the hand cannon animation just in time for them to nerf their range into the ground so they still aren't good on console.
Last Wish Me getting carried through by you guys that time was the most experience of the group. Started with 5, added a 6th at shuro chi. We got to morgeth and stopped. I was pretty impressed with how it held up at 750. Those encounters are so mechanics heavy that we could still easily fuck up, and we did. A lot. Looking forward to learning the rest of it and the other old raids.
Im not going to say we finally beat shuro chi when i started throwing heal grenades on a certain person while they were doing the laser thing. But thats what happened. I wont name any names.
We are going to have to learn how to do Riven legit or learn a new way to melt her because the old way doesn't seem to work anymore.
Didn't seem to be. But I want to try again. I don't think everyone has the proper shit for it. I've heard Acrius works really well too.
Same here. Never learned the proper way. I wish I would have because I've heard it's an amazing encounter. It may work but I'm not sure. You have to do a lot of damage quickly. I need to practice with the reload mechanics of Izanagi.
i would love to get that thing fully upgraded so it's not always in my weapons slot as a quest still...
Leviathan is easy now. We did it the other night for the first time in a over a year and smoked through it.
Will old raid drops drop at high light, or light equal to when they first released? Are any old raid guns worth getting? Wonder how many exotic raid stuff I've missed.
