halo had a nice campaign but its multiplayer feels like shit. maybe 5 was better. maybe infinite will be better. but the bungie halo games feel and play like shit. good for their era but they've aged incredibly poorly.
early destiny 1 had some maps with vehicles and sparrows. i liked it a lot but most hated it. ive never understood it.
My favorite thing about Destiny is grinding while listening to music. Most other games I need the game sound going, but Destiny I can do without it.
Disappointing for sure but hopefully whatever comes after Dawn will be more substantive, or at least contain actual endgame shit, and I'll return to it in March or whenever
I'll still dabble this season but I definitely don't see enough to keep me invested for 3 months. I'll bet Eververse is fucking loaded with goodies though.
So the leveling up the other character to reach 950 was a huge troll right? You have to go through the whole moon campaign again
Most everything moon related is locked on 2nd & 3rd characters until you beat the campaign and subsequent quest missions.
To the fellas who sent flowers to my grandmothers funeral that was very kind of you. Much appreciated. One love.
Sorry for your loss, Dave. When my sister passed last year the group of guys I used to play COD with sent flowers and arrangements to her funeral. We should never take for granted these internet friends we make. Some of the best people I know.
Yeah, that sounds awesome. This new grenade launcher you can get is amazing. It's a breach loaded one and when it hits the ground it sends out a wave fire forwards.
Yeah, this should be a permanent addition. It will be a mistake if these go away at the end of the season.
im sute they will, but perhaps if the community responds well theyll stick around or future content will be similar
Apparently double Dynamo on your class item is completely broken right now. Basically instant supers.
sunbracers have always been my favorite exotic. love getting a melee kill and throwing out 4 heal grenades. but this is a different level.
You basically become an AC-130 raining hellfire from above. Consume your for Heat Rises and you never have to come down.
something with demolitionist would probably play pretty well too if you dont want to be stuck using monte carlo. of course using monte carlo and something like demolitionist orewings maul would be extra ridiculous.
I have the new nade launcher with demolitionist and that's a lot of fun. Once you run the Sundial you get some quests. The one on Mars unlocks the Mars Obelisk. Once you upgrade it you can get the grenade launcher frame and farm it that way.
ah ok, gotcha. I have the 3 quests from doing the run. I need to run it more to figure out the mechanics. Kinda just ran through just killing things instead of paying attention.
So is the warlock the new character to run with this dlc? Also do you have to have completed all the shadowkeep missions and everything to play the new dlc? Trying to decide if it’s worth messing with
Also is there any way to plan a raid next week? I’ve still yet to do a single raid on this game. I can’t this weekend because we are moving but they need to make raids matchmaking or something because it completely cuts off casual players from ever being able to do one when they have the free time. I’ve waited for over an hour before for a guided game with nothing.
I'm in favor of matchmaking raids, as it's too hard to get 5 other people together. MM is risky because there's a lot of assholes out there, so I think a "vote to kick player" option would need to be made available. There's still LFG sites to find groups, tho. I completed my last one using Bungie's LFG.
no matchmaking please. just use lfg. would take resources to get going and would add nothing to the game. if you dont care enough to find yourself a group play a different game.
Match made raids would have a low chance of success but Bungie just needs to let people know that going in. But most people don't want to use mics and that just isn't possible in a raid.
ive played enough overwatch to know that when you put 6 random people together to try to accomplish something it rarely goes well. and thats people working together for 20 minutes, cant imagine how horribly toxic it would be to do something that could take hours.
I'd like to think the people going into MM Raids know the likelihood of success is low. Really, I'd just like it for it's ease. Much quicker to MM, I'd guess, than to search out LFG.
Maybe not matchmaking but an in game group finder would be huge. They have that in FF14 and that’s how I found a clan and a raid group. Most folk who did the group finder were people who just wanted to raid or do primal fights and weren’t allowed due to experience or whatever and it was an incredibly easy way for those folk to meet up and learn together. It’s also a fantastic way to sell raid carries
I'm not sure what the answer is. I know lfg can be pretty toxic we well. People demanding you have 20+ clears and this weapon or that and it makes it difficult for some players to get into raiding. That said I also get it. I've already spent my time struggling through the raid. I don't want to have to do that again.
