Trying to. I did a raid (or rather got pulled through a raid) 2 weeks ago. Still mostly playing during the day at work but I’ve tried carving out a night a week I can try to get on to do the higher level stuff that needs other people. We could potentially two man the dungeons sometime if you want. Or if Rust wants to jump back in. Getting raid teams together is dicier. Plus the time commitment has the chance to be higher. Still in that clan but most of the people I played with aren’t playing right now.
I’ve gotta get into looking at actual builds soon. Building up my mod catalog and build specific gear sets as opposed to simply trying to play “catch the light cap” on one set will definitely help with that but it looks like I’m going to need to grind higher level nightmares to get the materials needed. Starting over from basically nothing the day before guardian games means I’ve got a long way to go while trying to learn the underlying meta for warlock mains.
The current system is fairly frustrating to me for it. I’ve built up a nice masterwork core stash from gunsmith bounties and I’ll use that to build armor up until it starts requiring enhancement prisms, then the decisions get much more difficult. Do I waste materials on this season’s armor or wait for next season’s. You’re supposed to be able to use something like the past 3 season’s armor in each new season, but I’m still picky about it. Haven’t grinded nightfalls for prisms or ascendant shards, so I don’t have many. I just got into the charged with light builds and they’re pretty interesting.
you get about 5 enhancement shards and 6 prisms for dismantling masterworked 2.0 armor. so really you just waste part of the acendant shard.
Why the fuck am I a 1021 yet in iron banner it has me with the same load out as a 1014 and gives me drops as a 1014? When I head to orbit it changes right back to 1021
artifact power is disabled in ib whether ib or not, artifact power doesnt matter for drops. you will get 1014s if that is your highest possible power regardless of the activity or what it says
I swear, the reward system for this game isn’t even a carrot on a stick. It’s a stick with the hopes of getting a random carrot to try and get you to continue
yeah imma be honest you have absolutely no reason to still be 1014 excluding raids, dungeons, master nightfall, trials, and master nightmare hunts the weekly drops include: 4 matches of regular crucible 4 matches of rotator crucible 3 matches of gambit 3 strikes 3 points in nightfall interference flashpoint a handful from the recaster daily prime engrams contact hawthorne 4 people have one for 8 bounties each nightmare hunts kill nightmares weekly moon mission also invitation of the nine and the memory quest for eris if you havent finished those if youve only gone up by 14 power 3+ weeks into the season that is not the games fault, its yours. i didnt afk farm, i didnt touch my 2nd character until the first was at 1050.
I’m hitting all pinnacle goals on everything I can solo every week. Outside of nightfall and dungeons that’s all there is.
idk what to tell you man, everyone else seems to have made their way to 1050 pretty easily. TrustyPatches started the season at 900 or less and has barely played. i think he's 1010-1015
you can put mods in blue stuff no one ever HAS to use blue stuff. drops are determined by whats on your account not what is equipped. plus the game rains enhancement shards and upgrade modules
Nightfall has been changed due to the problem. Loving the new exotic. Want to run the dungeon again at some point to get the 5 eyes left in there, that's all I have left.
The last eye in there is a bit of a bitch. You have to shoot it during the boss phase and it's random if you get that room.
Ruinous Effigy. It's a void Trace Rifle similar to Coldheart but it shreds. Kills with it transform the enemy into void orbs that can be picked up and wielded/slammed as a weapon
Knocked out 3 of the 5 raids for monents of triumph. Really like that new raid emblem you get for beating all 5.
