Them eliminating the elemental requirement for mods is clutch as hell. The added freedom to build your load out how you see fit is certainly welcome. I don’t play with any of the Charged with Light or Warmind cell stuff but having an additional slot for the “legacy mods” or whatever they’re calling them is another nice bonus for players who do.
Really? I use them for just about all high level content. Wouldn’t have been able to solo flawless Prophecy without Take barrier & armaments.
i do use a fair bit of warmind/light mods, so not.having to stress over getting good rolls in each slot for several seasons on three characters is really nice. the build i've been using all season and will take into next season is: global reach + ikelos smg lucient blade reactive pulse devour felwinters helm its the most fun playstyle ive ever used in destiny
That's about the only time they are useful but also the main reason they are being removed from what they said in the twab. Having infinite heavy and a powerful overshield I guess was too strong. Going for solo without them is going to definitely be quite difficult though. I mostly run a charged with light build this season. But there isn't a lot that's difficult enough to require those mods.
i thought i had been improving my aim on pc but then i got thrown in a crucible match with gernaderjake. i have, in fact, not improved my aim. easy mercy for the other team.
Those guys are god damn aimbots. You ever seen panduh? I'm almost curious if he is in fact using an aim bot.

4K 60 with FOV slider. I’m going to be playing a bit more on PS5, I think. wish Sony would allow 1440p with a higher frame rate.
Yeah, I would think Bungie could do it but it seems both Sony and MS are either 1080 or 4k with no in-between.
can't wait to tackle the raid on day 1 with 12 teraflops of GPU power on my new OLED TV that runs true 4k flawlessly at 120hz...all at 30fps like its fucking 2003
Yeah this has honestly bummed me the fuck out. Not even that excited about Beyond Light now. Depending on how the season is setup I might just wait. But if it's an abbreviated season because if the delay I might not.
there's always things to grind such as titles or prep for next season. if you havent done anything this season might as well do it now. there's some good mods this season.
im now doing a lot of bullshit beyond light prep. you know, to go for worlds first which i will definitely have a group to try it with (lol). anyway, im here today to express that bungie should really change how things are purchased. instead of clicking phaseglass needle 1000 times can i please just have a slider or something to buy in bulk. thanks.
buy planetary mats that arent being rotated out, save up other mats like vanguard tokens, do the weekly bounties on all characters each week but dont turn them in (except the ones that say expires at the end of the season). bungie should give us double nightfall drops week after next so i'll be grinding that too when it comes around.
I’ve got like 1.8M XP in completed bounties chilling to get a leg up on leveling my artifact but with half of the locations disappearing I’m curious what, if any, bounties will carry over and which will just disappear.
I think dmg mentioned that this weeks TWAB was gonna be about sandbox adjustments/changes and next week’s would address leveling, pinnacles/powerful sources, bounties, XP etc so hopefully we’ll get some clarity
I saved some up but not full on all 3 characters. Feels like they’re going to “crack down” on that kind of thing.
We've never really had bounty stacking before in regards to the artifact from one year to the next. Just wondering with such a massive overhaul it might not work.
I fully expect top tree dawnblade to get nerfed since Datto and CammyCakes have been whining about it. That is going to seriously piss me off.
I'm okay with that for the most part. I was hoping for auto's to get hit harder and was wanting a HC buff in pve. Also rocket launchers will continue to be worthless.
as long as they refuse to give us multiple rockets per reload they will be shit. even then GLs will still probably be better. so we need that AND new, more interesting perks
It and swords will still be really good. At least I’ll have a reason to use the others now. I’ve played with and enjoyed True Prophecy for a while, so happy with that change. Was hoping 450 autos would get some live but nope. I’ve given up on them buffing scouts. But I’m 99% PVE anyway, so a lot of these changes don’t make a huge difference. I can use a scout or 450 auto as my primary if I want and do just fine (and have) in the majority of content. I still hate that they don’t separate PVP and PVE balancing, but they’ve dug their heels in enough on it at this point that there’s no way they ever change it.
d2 is very much trending to a better version of d1. youre always welcome back. when you arent working and your internet is usable, of course.
While there are still some things I prefer from D1, D2 has absolutely surpassed it. I will say that sandbox update the other day was about as underwhelmed as I can remember being in a long time with this game. What a weak ass update.
im generally team dont care which weapons are good. something is always worth using and i dont have much of a preference of what it is. imo, current sandbox is great (i say as someone who hates hand cannons) and really the only things that needed to be changed are buffs to hc and rl plus nerfs to swords and 600 rpm autos. we got a bit of all of that. so im happy with it. good balance means lesser sandbox changes and i think thats where we are. scout rifles are dead and always will be because bows do what they do but far better.
i'll take your word for it. i only use the ikelos smg which is very good. i also dont think hand cannons should always one shot small red bars. if they do, nothing else is viable.
They were that way for the first 5 years of Destiny and plenty of other things were viable. As it is now it's a pray n spray meta and actually being able to aim isn't rewarded. Just classic Bungie catering to the casual crowd.
i think the sweet spot with hc is to be able to one tap after the first kill whether it be with rampage, kill clip, firefly, etc
