That was one of the first decisions that made Campbell look like he's out of his depth. He needs to stop fluctuating between "super aggressive with a team that isn't good enough to play that way" and "oh shit, my team sucks so I'm super conservative". Pick one and go with it. Don't punt on 4th and 5 or whatever from the Philly 43 to start the game, and then go for that at the end with no upside.

The beat guys have been saying for months that Goff is basically here for 2 years, but I don't see how they can keep him around for year 2 after watching this shit week in and week out. He's just bad, and there's really no other way you can look at it. Even his "good" is "his guy got open and he didn't miss him".

Wouldn't shock me with this team now they took one this year in a historically bad looking QB staff...although Willis has me somewhat intrigued

That penalty really should be called leapfrogging if you ask me.

 

Goff currently has a QBR of 30.6.

The only QB to have a QBR lower than that over a full season since 2016 was Josh Rosen during his rookie year.

 

Bad year for QBs then, because 3 this year are even worse, Wilson, Mills and Fields who is at an awful 23.2. Stafford is also #1 this year

hard to tell, they would only be sophomores right now. The Bama and OSU QBs come to mind.
