I wonder when is the last time a Lion scored the first TD of an NFL season.
Well Baker helped even things up a bit from last year by beating the Vikings today.
Cousins going out and throwing for 350 yds and 2TDs with a 75% completion percentage and still losing to Baker Mayfield just feels so on brand for some reason.
For all his hype, fields may be the worst qb in our division that doesn't really have any elite qbs.
We should win this division
“Part of being a good player is getting off the ball, especially as an offensive lineman,” he said. “Defensive linemen, they can move a full step, they just have to not be in the neutral zone. It’s just noise, hearing other defensive linemen complain about it. You are in a sprinter stance and you run a 4.4 and you are really complaining about a fat dude who can barely break five flat backpedaling? Get the f— out of here.”
When the officials warned Tom, Bakhtiari said he told them to continue to let him know. “I am not trying to cheat,” he said. “I am going to try to take every possible inch I can.”
And that’s why he’s bothered by what he saw as Taylor’s blatantly illegal formation in Kansas City.
“He definitely was getting the franchise QB treatment, and yeah, you have to fix that,” Bakhtiari said.“That’s not cool and you are abusing a good thing. I can only defend linemen so much. I can’t defend that.”
Lions favored by 5.5 over Seattle
Sounds like we're going to be missing Decker and Paschal this week. Paschal apparently got hurt at practice yesterday.
Which means we're either starting Vaitai at tackle with Glasgow at guard, or starting Matt Nelson. I'll take door #1, please. This is why cutting Ifedi was dumb to me.
It has to be Sewell to LT, Vitai to RT and Glasgow to RG. Wouldn't make any sense to insert Nelson and leave Glasgow on the bench.
I think Nelson got one offensive snap against KC on the last run play of the game that sealed the win. And I'm pretty sure he got away with a pretty obvious hold where he tackled his guy coming down the LOS. Just like he did (only it was called) on the flea-flicker TD in the GB game to Williams. I don't understand what the coaching staff sees him in or Will Harris every year.
Where’s the ski mask?
We need to lock him up long term. Between the ski mask stuff, and his play/attitude guys like him are going to be what helps us turn the corner.
That was both dumb by CJGJ and also dumb to even call.
These refs are horrendous
It was the extra shove. Just dumb.
CJGJ hurt us bad there. Straight up stupid
It was incidental. Seems like he was celebrating and Walker got up.
also the DPI call was way worse
That was a disaster of a drive for many reasons, but those injuries, Jesus
Idk they kept cutting replay off before that part, but looked clearly like he was giving him an extra shove the one I saw
Looked like a team buying their own hype...Hopefully they get it together
What an answer.
Unrelated but Anthony Richardson is a beast. Glad we didn’t get the opportunity to pass on him.
JOSH REYNOLDS WHOOOOOOOOOP
its the Texans
It's nice when we have home Goff
Brock Wright has not been good thus far
Should have drafted the Michigan kicker. Not having a FG kicker might kill this team.
Let’s get a TD here now.
Witherspoon is a bust. Long live first round RBs.
eat shit, witherspoon
Gibbs fucked us there
Terrible series from offense there
Not an ideal start to the half.
can we get a Wayne Fontes statue?
That’s a terrible call.
