Okudah is still getting beat a lot, but he has been lined up a ton against Robinson, Adams and Hopkins. Getting Trufant back will help a ton in that regard. He’s improving every week though.
It’s pretty insane no one is talking about this throw because of a flag. One of the best passes I’ve ever seen.
Looked like a TD too. it’s a shame this coaching staff cut stafford’s balls off, he throws a good deep ball
Same coaching staff as last year when he seemed to throw it deep as much as he ever has, especially considering a lot of the deep shot pre-2016 were jump balls to Calvin when there wasn't anything else. I think we see more deep shots with a healthy Golladay.
that’s a tough call. If we get another top 10 pick this year, I think you have to consider using that pick on a TE. Especially if he struggles pass protection.
I'm not saying Stafford is bad or the reason for the Lions failings at all, but I'd be happy with drafting a QB. It would at least create a some buzz/ a new feel for the team and we could get value from trading Stafford (to a team that he could hopefully have success at) because he is still really good. He's got a potential out for 2021, so the timing would fit. I'll sit back and be called a moron now.
Buzz and value are pointless without redefining the culture from the top. I get some of the Stafford hate, but he’s been the best Detroit QB for my lifetime and we probably won’t have a better QB in the next 20 years. Looking around the league we were very lucky that he provided stability and didn’t require us to draft a QB every 3 years. It’s shameful that this org didn’t take advantage of his talent But you’re not a moron. It’s time to let him chase a title
Just to be clear, I think he's been great and I frankly feel bad for him (to the extent I can feel bad for someone making $27mm a year), and have no hate targeted to him. Agreed with a complete need for overhaul of culture, but frankly I'll take some pointless buzz/hope at this point.
I really like Stafford as a player and person. He could win a super bowl MVP elsewhere. Still wanted to draft Tua badly last year.
Supposedly Kamara was labeled as one of four players to be in close contact with the positive guy. With everyone else already out for the Saints...plus Kamara....the game will get postponed and we'll get a fully healthy Saints team in 8 weeks cuz Lions get Lions luck.
Alright boys. Let’s hear the predictions. I think lions blow them out with all the injuries. Lions - 31 Saints - 16
