This is the kind of DC hire I expected, considering Patricia will still have his fingerprints all over the D.
I hope it’s a DL coach hire but I am not terribly upset if he’s the DC. I just don’t see a scenario where Patricia isn’t involved on D.
That's fine, but Pasqualoni is 68 years old and doesn't have a good track record as a DC. Patricia being involved is great, but that doesn't mean we can't start from a stronger position on the staff.
That’s fair. I assume that a defensive HC is going to want someone he trusts to run his baby and that would be the reason for this hire. I would rate it as a 5 or 6 out of 10. Definitely doesn’t move the needle for me but it could be worse. I tend to think the more likely scenario is Pasqualoni is hired as AHC/DL Coach though.
Davidson has a lot of OL coaching experience. Also has some OC experience and coached under Belichick early in his tenure (overlapped with Patricia's first year in NE in 04). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Davidson
Football Poops says this is our new TE coach. He was at Syracuse when Patricia was there. http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/chris_white_1045543.html
If you're going to build a staff to compete at the highest levels of the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, no better place to start than...Syracuse.
I still love you, Jim http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sp...z-coaching-lions-awesome-time-life/109939280/
I’ve always been more of a Lafayette guy, but as long as he can defend his choice - I’ll support him.
Let me know when you guys go. I wouldn’t actually be seen with you but I would love to watch on intently from the counter.
Thought about it, but don't think I can do it. The Schwartz pic is me at this point. I look in the mirror in the morning and that's what I see.
This staff seems kind of shitty, although NSD has me bummed out and I'm probably just being too negative right now
The staff on offense seems fine. The staff on D seems weak to me. I'm curious to see what happens with Godsey and JBC now that Godsey is coaching QBs. His experience makes him the clear favorite to replace JBC at some point if JBC either gets a HC job or the offense doesn't perform. He also has worked on a staff with Patricia for 3 years in NE.
I have a bet with a friend with how long it will take for someone at the presser to ask him about keeping his beard. I have it happening quickly. Not sure if this trim is good or bad for me.
