We will lament all the blown opportunities when we lose this game but with all the injuries this is an impressive performance
I hated our TO usage. The time we saved is irrelevant, IMO. Would have rather we forced them to rush plays. Instead, we let them run it twice inside the 5.
Wait the Lions called TO why the hell? Their best chance was them settling for a FG because they were running out of time.
I don't have a huge issue with calling TOs there if it means your personnel can be better to stop plays inside the 5, but I don't like calling them right at the end of those plays and would have preferred he waited until right before the ball was snapped for the next play. I get what he was going for. I just don't think those 20 seconds are worth it if they're going to score.
Bull fucking shit. Enjoy 6 to 8 wins. And no playoffs, Michigan is also a good team. Jesus Christ, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Actually only had a couple drinks. But if you want to suck the Lions dick for a close game they should've won by two scores. Go ahead. Anti-Semite.
Business as usual. Be happy with close loses and sqaundered chances. Retard coach. What a time to be alive!
I couldn’t tell from the screen in the stadium but it really looked like the Chief was down before the fumble. That right? Also fuck Mahomes for that dive on the roughing call.
I think every Lions fan gets one game a year where he gets furious beyond belief when the Lions Lions. The rest of season Lions fans can only get exasperated. This is apparently your game. Getting this angry about the Lions on a regular basis isn't a good personal health model, because they do is all the time.
I think I hit this mark for the last time sometime under Marty Morningweg (don't care about his last name). Since then, I expect every game to be a loss until the clock hits 00:00 at the end of the game. Anything can and will happen to prevent this team from winning.
Was listening to Dan Lebatard this morning and they commented on how all the pundits kept saying that this game was a good sign and these are the new Lions despite losing. He said that this was the most SOL way to lose a game as anyone can think of. This may be a better team but giving up a 20 yard run on 4th and 8, multiple fumbles inside the 5 and going into that final drive knowing the other team was going to score. I have to agree with him, I've been watching Lions games this season with a friend that grew up in Philly/Eagles fan and this was the first game where he said he now understands the doom we always feel.
Frankly, I'm stunned they're not 0-4. I wonder what inventive way of losing they have for next Monday night in GB. I don't think that's a very good Packer team, but I also expect a loss due to a completely avoidable series of miscues and unlucky breaks.
So that performance against KC is not looking like as positive an indicator as it seemed at the time.
I know we have been on the bad end of a lot of calls, but as a collective, that was the biggest bullshit game I can remember
Yeah, I'm tired of "I'm glad this was on MNF because people saw it" stuff. This shit got old a long time ago.
