So was I and obviously was wrong especially for us, but I still am not out on him yet. This is essentially his rookie year and it was known to be a project pick. This time next year he looks the same then yeah
I think the weird part is a lot of people expected him to play like this last year when he was the week 1 starter, and instead he was relatively competent until he got hurt. His completion percentage has dropped 15 points this year from last.
PFF says Arnold allowed 7 completions on 10 targets for 95 yards yesterday. All of those numbers seem lower than what I watched yesterday when it felt like he was giving up completions every on every pass play for two quarters.
Honestly idk with Campbell, I think that could also very well be him being annoyed with the question and being goofy and giving a maybe answer to try and move on to something else Hope we make a move, but don't think that means anything significant
I havent listened to 97.1 in 4 years but every clip I see of Rico is him being 100% wrong. Let's hope he is right for once. But really, if a trade is "done", what's holding it from going through?
Also just sent that tweet to a friend of mine who i know listens to 97.1 daily and he said that's not what Rico said. Rico didn't claim to know anything and was speculating about whether Campbell knows something based on his PC
Lol @ the Sergeant with the Detroit Lions phone wallpaper doing everything he could to not arrest him
Probably nothing is going to come of that, but he's much too stupid of a person to be rolling around with a gun. He's going to make an awful decision at some point.
Lions were aware. Sounds like he’ll be charged with a misdemeanor and then probably plead down DetroitNole
But he'll probably be fine. Same charges didn't effect Mazi Smith or Emoni Bates, as long as he doesn't pull a Keith Appling and do it multiple more times and then kill someone...
Take the rest of the team to get their CPL now, just to avoid this. Although I'm not sure a lot of the guys would end up in a similar situation
His attorney has created an out that the police/prosecutor have as an excuse if they don't want to charge him. But it wouldn't have flown with the average person and is pretty clearly BS. Will be interesting if they do something now there is public pressure. Not to get too legally in depth, but the driver could have transported Jamo gun legally if Jamo wasn't there. But Jamo himself can't possess a gun without a cpl in car. Their defense is "even though it's jamo gun and under his seat, the driver is the one in possession of it and thus, legally transporting it". Bottom line, if you have a hand gun, just go get a fucking cpl and you'll never have to worry about these things. Or don't go places that you think you need a gun to be safe.
According to espn a warrant has been sent to the prosecutor office. So there should be an answer soon
The Mazi Smith case was pretty similar (although Smith had gone through the entire process of obtaining a CCL but was in the waiting period) and that was ultimately plead down to misdemeanor “attempted possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle” and was charged under the HYTA, so it won’t stay on his record. Jameson is young enough to qualify for the HYTA, so if this ends up being pursued, hopefully it goes along similar lines.
Speeding. His brother as a CPL holder had to identify the guns in the vehicle to officers during the stop
We would never do that, but it's kind of like the Skubal trade stuff for Cleveland. They have no motivation to trade Garrett at this point to a team like Detroit for much less than this.
