The Suggs-Killian combo would be interesting as neither one is a great outside shooter at this point in their careers
Would have a chance to be a terrific defensive backcourt, though. That would be the upside. I like Suggs a lot, but he seems more in the Iguodala mode as a player than as a high volume offensive PG or SG. And that's a really good result if it happens, but you kind of need to understand that going in. Similar to guys like Wagner and Barnes in that way.
Suggs could easily be one of those just a step under superstar players that hang around the league forever. Similar to a Kyle Lowry or Mike Conley type. He seems like a smart basketball player and understands the big moment. Feel like he's the clear #4 and on his own tier after the top 3 guys, with a large drop off to the next tier
My personal want list is 1. Cade 2. Green 3. Mobley 4. Sengun 5. Suggs 6. Barnes Sengun just seems like a guy who will put up insane numbers, though I wonder how good he can ever be defensively.
8 seems high, but if he unlocks his shooting he has a very high ceiling. He's a fantastic defensive player with excellent size. Also, this draft is pretty sketchy after 4.
Franz isn’t going to be a star most likely, but 6’9 3 and D wings with playmaking ability are pretty valuable in the league.
I've been driving the Franz bandwagon for two years. I would say I am on the high end regarding his pro prospects.
I think there is a clear 1 and another drop after 4 so with Detroits lottery luck we'll be outside that top 4
I thought you were just trying to speak it into existence like a nut job, but then I saw he was actually 8 on Hollinger’s top 10 and I was flabbergasted. I admittedly only watched UM a handful of times but I would have never guessed that.
He's really good defensively, really smart, and skilled enough offensively to think he could be more than he's been. But he's never going to be the #1 or 2 offensive option on a good team and his shot is very inconsistent. How you view that kind of profile is how you'll decide to either rank him in the top 6-8 guys, or if you think he should go in the teens somewhere.
Just get us into the commercial break before the top 3 and I’ll be satisfied. unless we get pick 3 or 2 and then I’ll rage and claim it was rigged for whoever got 1.
Every year this show makes interviews of players on draft look seem riveting by comparison. It's beyond awkward every year.
No. The lotto rules changed. Either team could be anywhere inside the top 4 now. It used to be the lotto was for the top 3.
James Edwards wins. This was the greatest tank season in NBA history. I’m sorry I doubted you, James.
