Rumor that Wall and Beal are both available. Probably don't have the assets for Beal but would you take Wall if all it cost was Reggie + filler?
I know I'm going to regret this within the next hour, but is Stanley Johnson not terrible anymore? He's been really good the last few weeks.
Still don't know what to make of this team, but nice to see them get this kind of win. Need to stay healthy and prove they can play well on the road, because we've played the fewest games in the league and only 40% of them were on the road.
Doesn't seem to make much sense for either team. I'm all for taking a chance on young talent but they seem to be in win now mode and need shooting, neither of which he helps. Sixers also need shooters so can't imagine we can put together a package they'd be interested in. Conversation would probably start at Kennard and a 1st?
What will it take to end the Drummond experiment? A 7-foot John Wall So far this season, he has the seventh-lowest true shooting percentage in the league for a player with as many attempts as he’s taken. Since 2014, 31 players have taken 4,300 field goal attempts. No player has taken as many shots as Drummond and posted a lower true shooting percentage.
I'm never sure how to feel about Drummond. He's a great rebounder. I think he'd be a really good piece for a team where he's not a primary scorer. Unfortunately the Pistons roster is absolute garbage. Smelly, flaming garbage.
What are your thoughts on tanking? That shill Rod Beard was advocating against it all afternoon. He thinks getting 8 seed and swept by Bucks is better than getting a 25% chance at top 4 pick.
This team needs to lose every single game. Playoffs don't mean shit. At some point someone in this organization needs to actually come up with a long term plan to compete at a high level. The Blake trade was fucking stupid. Thinking Reggie Jackson could be a key player for a good team was stupid. Drafting Kennard was stupid. Giving 10 mil a year to Leuer was stupid. Need to bottom out for about 3-5 years and build something instead of patching together a roster every year that might be good enough to be the 8th seed and get swept.
Drummond sucks too. You can find a rim protector for half of what you pay that lazy piece of shit Drummond.
Drummond would need to see himself as someone who isn't a primary scorer for that scenario to happen. At this point, I don't think he'll ever accept that because he's an idiot. I've tried to support the guy for a long time when people gave up on him, but I'm done with him after seeing him this year. He's just never going to get it.
That you’re turning on all the Detroit sports teams too. They all suck. Pistons might be furthest away from a title.
Lions are meh but might be able to make the playoffs next year if certain things get better. Tigers and Red Wings are rebuilding and doing some decent things, but probably with the wrong people in charge. Pistons are screwed for years and need a miracle to get out of this.
Pistons are fucked. You would think they’re at least two years away if they make correct moves, but by that time Griffin will either be injured or will suck.
