Yeah that roster is dog shit, but we also haven’t shown any improvement either. If Cade were healthy, maybe we have 4 or 5 more wins but that’s about It.
I love Cade but he's even a big unknown at this point. Without Cade this is a lost season but they better make a huge step next season
I would see if OKC would be interested in trading Chet for Cade. PG: Scott SG: Ivey SF: Bojan PF: Chet C: Duren bench of Stew, Wiseman, Hay3s, Burks edwards would still have an excuse if the team sucks though
I've got a buddy who was at a resort in the Bahamas last week. He saw Rasheed walking past him in a Pistons shirt one day and yelled at him "Ball Don't Lie". He said Rasheed yelled back at him "Fuck no, it don't".
Hay3s is due for a "big game" soon. Haven't heard media tell me how great of a pick he was in a while.
I don't have the stomach to watch this team and haven't for a few months now. For people who do actually watch some games, is Ivey looking pretty good? The numbers seem pretty good, but we're losing all these games so I'm curious if they're just stat padding or something better. I've been surprised by some of his high assist totals in box scores.
Character issues aside I wonder if Brandon Miller will end up the best player in this draft or not. It’ll be an interesting draft process for us
I almost wonder if Wembanyama is "too tall". Most people that height don't last long before injuries hit them. Pistons need to make some trades this offseason regardless. Team needs a refresh with Cade back and the new pick
I've tried to stomach a couple games and can't. He's been aggressive and sometimes recklessly aggressive attacking the rim when I've watched and looks generally good with mistakes you'd expect a young guard to make. Seems he shoots like hay3s about 30% of games but overall his percentage seems to be improving. Haven't written him off
Coaching is so terrible. Tie game over 30 seconds left and timeout. Could go for 2 for 1 and we somehow come away with no shots and let them win at buzzer
He's playing more minutes, they've more than doubled since the trade so his averages have gone up as expected but his shooting %, like everyone on this team, has dipped. He's basically who we thought he was playing more minutes. Well see how it plays out minutes wise when all the bigs are healthy
Lol he’s been saying that all year after we fall behind by 15 in every game, and end up losing by the same amount.
Anyone actually watch last night's game? I did for a few minutes and was surprised to see an announcer/commentator of this team actually say something negative. Grant Long coming back from commercial was asked something like "This is the first game the pistons are using their three big men of Duren, Bagley and Wiseman, thoughts so far one game in?" And his response was basically "It doesn't work and they need to make changes in the offseason, I'll discuss it more post game". They cut back to Blaha and Kelser who seemed shocked and I think Kelser even made a comment like "we aren't as blunt in our assessments". Just wondering if anyone caught any of the follow up on that. Wondering if he was told to drop it
If I'm reading this box score correctly, we've got Duren, Bagley and Wiseman all playing and getting out-rebounded by the Pacers 54-35. And the Pacers' "center" tonight is a 6'9"/205 forward.
yeah but we outscored a play in team by 12 points in the 3rd quarter, and have played them neck to neck in 2nd half.
Look I'm not going to knock Killian too hard tonight because he's actually having a better than usual night for him.... but man a team that let's the worst shooter in nba shoot 17 times is really a pathetic team
His best game in a while but still 17 points on 17 shots and 4 ft and 13 assists and 5 turnovers. He should not be shooting near that much.
Guess we gotta get more looks for McGruder and Omoruyi? I'm cool with Killian shooting 30 times with the guys we played tonight.
It just hit me that there is a non-zero chance Detroit franchises add Brandon Miller and Jalen Carter this off-season. That would lead to a lot of reflection.
