And our new GM going to be handicapped by this trade no one seems to give him any stink over. Media really needs to call out Weaver. But they won't, because the only ones left caring are the slappies
What are we trading multiple first round picks for right now? Weaver has been a wild mess, but complaining that he can't mortgage the future because of 1 heavily protected first round pick seems weird.
Not being able to trade more than a 1st rd pick for potentially 7 years when most nba trades involve 1st rd picks is a huge handicap on a team trying to take the next step. It was a horrible trade but honestly he fucked up everywhere else we may still be in lottery in 2027. Hardly his worst move, but one barely mentioned
Jam3s made a comment on Twitter today that had me look it up, and it's crazy that if you combined MSU starting 5 and the Pistons opening night starting 5, the 4 oldest players of the 10 would all be Spartans. They have a higher average age of starters than the Pistons do
Funny how it took their "star" player to say they suck for the media to actually come out and write articles about how they are bad
It says Cade sucks (by "future franchise player" standards) and I was wrong to argue when you compared his shooting numbers to Killian's this year. I am sorry.
that was me. so we are going to walk away from Cade? You definitely can’t extend him or give him anything close to max. He’s garbage
Cade 6 assists 1 turnover Ivey 11 pts on 5/6 shooting Playing a good team closely It's almost like starting someone with offensive ability helps the team....too bad no one thought of it sooner (still need to shoot better from deep as a team, but offense has a pulse)
Ivey checked out with 4:44 left in third. Halfway thru 4th now, still haven't brought him back in. 15 pts on 7/8 shooting. Come on, what are we doing Monty
Getting cooked by KCP and Reggie Jackson makes this one so much worse Team looked a lot better with this new lineup, but still not good enough
Sasser was only given 5 minutes tonight. Meanwhile, Hayes and Burks in 31 combined minutes off bench had 3 pts 4 assists 3 turnovers on 1/7 shooting. It'll be interesting to see guard rotation when Monte Morris is back
I'm more excited to see Duren hopefully back soon and Wiseman once again not allowed to play because he's awful.
Duren and Bogdanovic are returning to practice this week. Morris is out at least another 6-8 weeks after getting a PRP injection.
Cap is slang for lie, likely insinuating the injury report released right before his tweet was in his mind not truthful
If the guy is away from the team, and they're not saying anything it, there's probably a good reason why he's away, and a good reason why they're not saying anything about it. Why do people think they're owed this info?
Zach Harper said if we are winless after the Wizard game Monday we might not win again in 2023. The odds of that are minuscule but man the schedule in December is ridiculous. It’s embarrassing to be at this point.
You're telling me Ben Johnson stops showing up on Lions sidelines for weeks and the team doesn't make a single comment about it, people aren't going to ask questions? I think most well run organizations would release something like "he's away from the team dealing with a personal matter" or something vague instead of just ignoring it
Different situation. it's a fucking no name assistance coach that nobody cares about. I had no idea who this guy was until you brought it up in this thread.
He's their defensive coach, media was playing him up like a defensive guru when we hired him https://www.detroitbadboys.com/2023...hing-staff-dan-burke-mark-bryant-jarrett-jack
Over under 5.5 wins by end of year. We've played 15 so far and have 15 more to go. In order to get to 6 wins, we'd have to go 4-11 over our next 15. @ Indiana vs. Washington vs. Lakers @ Knicks vs. Cleveland vs. Indiana vs. Sixers @ Sixers @ Bucks @ Atlanta vs. Utah @ Nets vs. Nets @ Boston vs. Hawks
Think it's funny there is still a section of our fanbase using injuries as an excuse for our losing streak. The Pelicans rested Zion v us Sun's didn't play Booker or Beal Bucks Giannis got ejected and Middleton didn't play Trae didn't play for Atlanta Jokic and the coach got ejected for Denver I mean, we've lucked out as much as we've been hampered in games in terms of whose in and out
Team looks a lot better with starting lineup change Still fold late at first sign of adversity though
