Thon Maker is a name from about a million Rivals recruiting updates I never read. Still a million less than the Luol Deng recruiting updates I also didn't read.
Galloway starting and guarding Knox tonight leads me to believe Ellington will be starting shortly after that deal is official. I really don't get this line-up.
Drummond is in the middle of one of those stretches where I used to wonder if he might be on the verge of turning the corner. Last 5 games he's... 21.8 PPG 15.8 RPG 3.0 BPG 75.8% FG 71.4% FT We're 4-1 in that stretch. The comp hasn't been good in those wins, but he's gone against Jokic and Jordan (twice). I'm done believing the light it coming on, but this is why it's hard to just give him away.
They're playing really well right now. This is the best Drummond has ever played, especially. Nice to see a good run out of Kennard with more PT, as well.
I hadn't really looked up the numbers in a while. In nine February games, Drummond is averaging... 22.0 PPG 16.0 RPG 68.3 FG 66.7 FT (7.1 FTA per game) 2.5 BLK 2.3 STL I have no clue where it came from or why it's here. I think Blake deserves some of the credit there for being someone he at least respects enough to listen to. I'm assuming he'll fall back into old habits soon because it's the Pistons and we can't have nice things anymore, but at least we're fun to watch right now.
