Monk > Mitchell > Kennard, IMO. Could talk myself into any of the three. Really hoping its from that group, though.
Hope those extra wins the last week of the season were worth it you dumbfucks. Can't wait til KCP gets a max deal
How many times has a player dropped only to be scooped up one pick before the Pistons? I can think of Paul Pierce, Ben McLemore and Monk off the top of my head
1. Didn't trade Drummond 2. Drafted white guy 3. Gonna suck again next year About worst case scenario
I would have preferred Mitchell, but Kennard can score and we need that off the bench. I'm just scared SVG won't play him because he's going to be bad on D.
I can't say I hate the pick since there wasn't anyone available I truly cared about more than him. I just wish we could pick top 5 soon because this purgatory sucks.
I'd be ok with the pistons going full philly mode at this point, but that ain't gonna happen with the move downtown. We're fucking screwed.
NBA please get over yourself already and just execute trades on the spot. So absurd these kids have to pose for pictures in the wrong colors.
Fire SVG and bring in Hinkie. I'm quite proud of the fact an NBA team in Detroit has three championships, but fuck it. Burn this shit to the ground.
The Lions have best chance of winning a title among major sports. Sucks to be a Detroit sports fan right now.
So with an admittedly potentially lazy comparison, why won't kennard struggle like stauskas? I suppose kings/sixers caveats apply but still Nik hasn't transitioned great. Kennard having a terrible wingspan is scary for me.
Depends on if he stops making shots like Stauskas did when he got to the league. If Stauskas was making 40+ percent from 3 like he did in college, he'd be looked at differently. Instead, he's making 34% from 3 and he's useless on the court.
And yet guys like Korver and Redick had really good careers and still made a ton of shots for really good teams. Neither of them is more athletic than Stauskas or Kennard.
Well, yeah. The team's biggest issue is they don't have many guys on the perimeter who can make shots. They drafted Kennard to do that. If he does, his lack of athleticism won't be a huge issue.
It was. Look at recent drafts. I know what you're saying though...was expecting a lot more out of the pick we had. But it's the pistons fault for not tanking better.
I don't think people said it was a deep draft overall. People thought the depth in the 5-10 range was better than most years, but most of the media guys I read said it fell off a cliff after the top 10.
Useless is a bit harsh. He averaged close to double figures at one of the lowest usage rates in the league. He has gotten better over the last few years.. Edit: He averaged 9.5 ppg, 3 rebs, and 2.5 assists in 27 mins/game. Far from useless.
