Folks, I think we have two future #1D among us. How good can he become? HA: -If you go that high in the draft you expect them to be a top 3D or top6F. He looks like he can land there. He's got very high potential. He's no Klingberg or Karlsson, feels more like a Hedman-defender. Question everyone asks is if he become that good.. who knows? It undoubtedly looks exciting and similarities between him and Hedman can't be ignored. There's no plan for when Detroit wants to bring him over. It all depends on the season and the level he keeps performing at. HA: -Generally there's a rule to be a leading player on your team. Next step is to be competing for a national team and being at that level. You need to do that to have a chance in the NHL. Do you think he can keep going on this path? HA -It would be great if he could. But I wouldn't be surprised if he falters a little bit in january. A lot of young players do that and it's impossible to be fully trained at that age. It’s fine for Bertuzzi to do it. Larkin shouldn’t have to. The bigger issue is that our star players keep getting run.

I also have larkin, glad he finally has some help. They will hit some slumps this year but that train is starting to move in the right direction.
Listened on radio driving across state, the radio guys made it sound like both top 2 lines played great. Really is exciting to see prospects producing in the professional level. Made me think, what would you rank the top 10 prospects in Detroit ? Off top of head I think I'd go 1. Cade (I think he could be biggest star, I could rank him lower though because he hasn't shown anything yet in pros) 2. Seider (only ahead of other guys because he's shown high level play in pros) 3. Greene 4. Torkelson 5. Raymond 6. Edvinsson (flying up list) 7. Sewell 8. Cossa 9. Bey (I don't know if him and Stewart count as prospects but I will) 10. Stewart
I don’t want to commit huge money to a guy in his late 20’s but man we could have some kind of top 9 next year if we landed a guy like Hertl. Bertuzzi - Larkin - Raymond Zadina - Hertl - Vrana (Czeching line) Berggren - Veleno - Suter I think Fabbri gets dealt to clear some room and we flip Veleno and Suter to maximize Joe. That top nine would be nuts though.

With Raymond, Zadina, and Berggren all panning out I don’t know how you you put him anywhere else unless one of them plays on the other side but Zadina seem to like playing on his off side for one timers. Either way Elmer would be PP1 and probably PK2 so he would be getting 15-16 mins a night.
Bertuzzi is only 26, I don't think this team moves him. I think he's here for a while and can slot in on that 2nd line. Fabbri is also still only 25, I wouldn't be shocked if we extend and keep him
I think Stevie moves him as soon as he can. Fabbri could certainly be one of the guys to fill the holes on the LW
I dont know, I know a few people who don't like him for the vaccine thing, but I think the way he plays connects with the fans here and he brings something different than our other forwards do. Not saying if we get a Mantha package, yzerman wouldn't take it, but I think he is someone they plan on keeping
Excited to be at my first game since pre covid tonight. Told my wife I'd buy her a jersey tonight and she was upset the team store only had Larkin and Bertuzzi white jerseys, she likes white better than red. I already own a white Larkin and she loves Bertuzzi but the vaccine thing made her not want to get his jersey. So I cut her a deal and gave her my white Larkin jersey and I'm rocking a Mo Seider jersey tonight.
