It’s pretty sad how they are basically no good young guys on this. 25 man roster that are worth watching.

After winning the triple crown, there isn't much left to accomplish in life other than creating a successful candy empire.
Manning in AA: 4.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 8 K, 1 BB Also, since our chat about Rogers, he's been on a tear and had an OPS over 1.000 heading into tonight
It's a home game and it was the 9th inning. It's statistically impossible for him to get a save tonight. He's just supposed to sit in the pen all night?
I said 7 appearances in 11 days was too much. He hadn't pitched in 6 days before last night. Bringing your closer/best reliever into a tie game in the top of the 9th or 10th is standard/smart usage.
I'll also take the over on this, provided he's healthy enough to get ABs in the second half of the season and overcome the bad start. He's had a ton of injuries and is a little afraid to let it loose right now, IMO. He'll get better as he gets more comfortable being back.
He’s a funny guy and he seems good with the kids. It’s all you can ask for. He’s even embraced analytics more than I anticipated.
Vin’s girl has a list of top prospects in the system by position. I’m sure this is normal for a lot of teams but it appears we every positional player in our system needs to maybe not strike out so much.
Now he needs to start hitting for some power so we can trade him for whatever we can get. I don't like that move from his perspective, though. Boras has a very sketchy track record in recent years with players of his caliber in free agency.
Does this scare off teams that would have traded for him at the deadline with a thought that they could resign him? Maybe it was already this way but seems like he'll be purely viewed as a rental at this point
I doubt that plays into it at all. I don't think anyone would have traded for him with the idea that they would sign him before FA.
He could have been had for peanuts this off season and nobody wanted him. You see the shit return Avila got for JD? Castellanos is an average MLB player. We won’t get jack shit for him at the deadline.
FG Chat: AK: Whats the upside on Tarik Skubal? Is there long-term starter potential or is he destined for the bullpen? 1:49 Kiley McDaniel: breaking ball has backed up from my first look at him the fall before he signed, but changeup had improved some and he hit 97. There’s some chance he can start, but feels to me more like inventory starter that ends up being a middle/long reliever
