Chupa mi verga
Thats what he should have wrote on the ball, and returned it to him.
Hopefully somebody beats this kid’s ass
He’s like 35 years old. He’s a fucking douchebag
The ole "Oh, if I take this baseball, you're gonna make it worthless? Then I'm gonna take it" strategy is a bold one.
I bet it was his first tigers game too. Picked up the shirt and hoodie at sal army prior to the game.
He and buddies were gonna go to Cedar Point, but the weather looked bad so they went to the Tigers game.
They weren't aware that CP doesn't open until tomorrow, because they're clearly very smart boys.
What a cunt
Ross gonna fetch a DFA soon.
He's been awful. I didn't think he'd be good, but hoped he'd at least be close to quality start range and eat some innings most nights.
Great signjng Avila
I think Tony Paul wants to have sex with this guy. He’s tweeted about him 100 times
Soooooo why was he yelling "Anne Frank?"
How many runs with this lineup?
Seven. They're due.
And then they get shutout again in game 2
He also signed Ronny Rodriguez, who currently has a higher wRC+ than Mike Trout. I'm looking forward to Rodriguez's inevitable PED suspension at this point.
Cabrera still sucks ass with Mike Trout Jr hitting behind him. What’s his excuse now?
Is there a worse every day player in the majors besides Jacoby? He fucking sucks.
And nice job by Cabrera getting ejected in the first. What a true leader. We are going to miss the one or two singles he would have provided tonight.
I don't think they'll do anything with Cabrera until he get 3,000 hits and (hopefully) 500 HRs, but he's so clearly not cut out to be the veteran on a rebuilding team, and it's only going to get worse as he gets worse. Those comments were so fucking stupid.
Maybe Cabrera is retarded but had God gifted baseball skills?
He's just not a good person. But he won the triple crown and that's pretty cool.
So what you’re saying is we are stuck with his ass through the 2021 season? I doubt we cut him from those last two seasons. He’s making $32MM in. 2022 and 2023.
So our starting 5 is:
Who fucking knows?
Turnbull, Carpenter and Buck Farmer?
Who knows. That dumb ass McCosky said we could sign James Shields
not the greatest source but during a chat on MLB Trade Rumors, their guy said that Boyd is probably the most attractive arm on the market and the conversation should start with a top 50 type prospect. Even at that he also said that they shouldn't trade him this year.
Said teams aren't sold on Greene yet due to it only being 18 innings but if he keeps it up, there should be a strong market for him as well.
Also sounds like the Dodgers kicked the tires on Castellanos but the asking price is still too high
Good stuff. I would only trade Boyd if we got a haul like the White Sox did for Quintana.
We just need Greene to pitch well for two more months.
As far as Castellanos goes, we won’t get anything of value for him. Not sure why they are holding out.
Do the Astros say no to this? Greene and Boyd for Kyle Tucker? Or Boyd and Greene to Milwaukee for Hiura?
Both teams say no
Cabrera is fucking trash. Guy says he’s in best shape of his life, and he’s still a fucking fat fuck who can’t run.
Only one can hope he can be good in the majors. We literally have zero catching prospects besides him.
Regardless of how well Boyd pitches, it's become incredibly rare that teams give up top 10-20ish position prospects. The Quintana deal doesn't come around very often. I think best case scenario for Boyd is two guys ranked in the 50-125 range, plus maybe a lottery ticket. Even that seems kind of unlikely unless he doesn't fall off at all from the early season performance. Teams just don't give up those top guys anymore.
Hopefully he continues to hit because our positional prospects have been shit this year. Cameron has an OPS of .710. Paredes has an OPS of .690.
And it looks like Candelario is not an MLB level player. He’s hitting .200 over past 6 months dating back to last year, with 160 k’s, and a .614 OPS
Sign me up for this, please
You like Vaughan??
For this org, absolutely. An impact bat that should move quicker than anyone else in the draft is pretty much our dream scenario. It's not a surprise that teams would start looking to guys elsewhere on the diamond the closer we get to the draft, but our biggest need is for some kind of middle of the order bat, and we have none of those types right now.
If we sign Vaughn, be prepared for the rest of the draft to be shit. We likely go over slot, and are forced to reach rest of draft.
Pretty much a standard Avila draft. His drafts have always been shit after round 1.
No way he gets past Miami though.
Gotta love Ryan Carpenter.
Down 8-1. Cabrera laughing his ass off on the field. Great leader
I don't think Vaughn would cost over slot. He doesn't have much leverage.
Of course bitch boy Cabrera our with a “knee” injury. Doesn’t want to strikeout 3 times vs JV
The fuck is an opener?
I hope JV pitches a perfect game tonight
On good teams like the Rays, they hav a reliever start the first inning, and then the starting pitcher pitches from there. I guess strategy is the starter avoids the first 3 batters, or the teams better hitters
Candelario to AAA
