So what everyone said 2 months ago?
I can't remember ever reading the "it's intact but has no elasticity" thing before.
Vinegar Strokes last text message to a lady
“This doesn’t usually happen. I’m just tired”
Wasted two months of recovery time by sticking it out.
you both are being **very generous** to Vinegar Strokes virginity status
It’s pile on Vinegaf Strokes day. Keep it coming bitches.
June 10 - Vinegar Strokes
Let Vin pitch, cant do worse than ERod
Lmao and now the announce crew misses an out this inning
How do we not have another pitcher better than this bum? Are the apologists going to blame injuries?
he’s tired man. Just gave up 10 runs last week.
Baez has two walks today lol
He was tired of striking out
Lmao Avila and Ilitch got booed at the Cabrera ceremony
Tigers made him quit baseball. thanks Avila
GM's can't control everything, shit, probably a lot of things. That being said, how shitty has Avila really been? I can't think of one good or even halfway decent move that he's made that's worked out. You'd think he'd hit on something, a trade, a free agent acquisition, something. The only thing he hasn't completely wiffed on is drafting, and even that his hit rate is much lower than it should be. What does he have to do to get fired? This is Randy Smith level ineptitude.
Ask Chris if he’s ever going to develop District Detroit.
This seems inarguably true.
Do we have to pay him while on the restricted list?
Weekly reminder Avila took Jackson Jobe over this guy
I don’t see how anybody comes back next year, including Hinch. This entire thing is a shitshow
Which player was fucking his wife?
What does it say on our hats tonight? Eduardo Strong?
edit. Nevermind. Says Oxford Strong.
Wow we scored 5 runs!
rough day for Avila. Rodriguez quits the team. Baez getting booed after every at bat. Chafin gives up like 4 runs.
Rodriguez's reason for personal leave is due to "marital issue," according to Heyman
Fuck, if I could take personal leave for that I'd work like 6 weeks a year.
Top of the lineup:
1. Victor Reyes
2. Harold Castro
3. Willi Castro
Can’t wait to see Baez strikeout with runners on base in a few minutes.
I've gone completely apathetic with this team. We are in like 2010-2020 Pistons territory. Not even angry because it's such a joke, just don't care right now
Michigan is about to lose its coach to Clemson. Based on how this season has gone I’m going to assume Fetter gets that job.
Why would he want a demotion?
I've been watching a lot of Tigers games after my kids go to bed this season. My god they're fucking terrible.
Isaac Paredes is hitting .200, but his .751 OPS would be 3rd on the Tigers behind Victor Reyes and Harold Castro.
Kody Clemens is a more effective hitter than he is pitcher at this level, so there is that.
I’ll pay more attention when Greene gets called up, but it’s not even worth checking box scores right now.
I turned it in, saw the score and my only thought was that it wasn't Skubal or Faedo who got rocked.
Per fangraphs, tigers positional players have a total WAR of 1.3.
Bobby Witt Jr has a 1.6 WAR, Ha-seong Kim 1.4, Carlos Correa 1.3, JD Martinez 2.2, Corey Seager 1.4, Trevor Story 1.4
5 guys in the starting lineup tonight were batting under .200 tonight. 4 of them with enough plate appearances to qualify, I think.
When is Avila getting fired?
"It isn’t about Avila’s perceived incompetence at making trades. He can trade as adequately as any GM, and has — when he has had trade chips."
"There has been one reality, for sure, big. It wasn’t a GM’s fault that MLB teams beginning in 2017 went into fetal positions, hording their prospects"
"Thoughts that Avila or some other GM could have dealt their way into making the Tigers a contender in 2022 are nonsense. It wasn’t going to happen. Nor was some brand of wild and wooly free-agent binge going to work."
Lynn Henning today
That’s a bunch of bullshit. Lynn is such a bitch. Still waiting for Cale Iorg to make the majors.
and we heard all off-season the rebuild was over, yet we are on pace to lose 95 games this year. Do better Lynn.
To be fair Lynn point to the article was we haven't had enough home grown talent to be competitive (which he isn't wrong about) but still oddly defends Avila throughout most the story, when it's also him whose drafts have led to this problem
Hey our players have sucked for a decade. Don't blame Al!
