I'm not sure how much that versatility matters when you can't hit at all. Especially when we already have players at 2-3 other positions who can't hit at all.
And while versatile, it's not like he's a great fielder. Cant hit and was actually a negative defender according to baseball savant last year. Now Malloy is an absolute ass defender, but I think has more offensive upside
Kreidler hitting stats are even worse than I remember. Career .193 slugging percentage.... Glad we decided not to sign another bat!
Signed him in FA. 7 year mlb vet. Had a few decent seasons in SF and St Louis, before joining white sox last year and doing awful. Sox cut him, Braves picked him up and he had a good but limited bounce back with them

1. Platoon guy 2. Solid player 3. Solid player 4. Guy most people didn't think would make team at end of last year hitting cleanup 5. Guy grabbed off street recently cut by another team 5th 6. 1b who had sub. 700 ops last year 7. One of worst hitters in baseball 8. Sub .200 hitter whose power wasn't as present last year 9. Somehow a worse hitter than #7 That's brutal
What the flying fuck was tork doing there? Then he didn’t even attempt a pickle to get the guy to third
Illitch two teams at the same time couldn't score on 4 straight minutes of a pp and have given up 1 goal on 1 shot and also failed to score from 3rd with no outs. Worst owner in sports
Bottom of our lineup so bad it's hard to even get excited about runners getting on in the middle of the order
Great job Skubal. Fucking bum. Choked away our season in October, and now choking away start to our season in March.
Congrats to Spencer Torkelson for being removed from the Vin Strokes bust list. Don’t get too cocky. You can be out back on it before you know it.
Keith fucking blows. 0 for 5, weak contact every at bat. All things considered we played good enough to win. Your ace can’t give up 4 runs. We were unlucky with the RISP, which should even out as season goes on. need to find a way to win one of the next 2.
I'm almost more impressed this lineup was able to get 15 ab with risp than anything. For the Tigers to have a shot at being good, Tork and Keith need to both play very well
I misunderstood the question, I thought it was just MLB debut this season, like who will be called up first from AAA. And I forgot he broke his hand.
