Says something about how low Fiers' value is that he got to Oakland on waivers. I'm not sure how often the waiver order resets, but Oakland has the 4th best record in baseball. Every non-playoff team passed even though he has another year of control, as well as every contending team in the NL. Would be shocked if either PTBNL is better than what we got for Upton or Kinsler from LAA.
I thought waivers went through the all the AL teams first then on to the NL. Still not great but would mean only 10 teams passed on him with really only Seattle and Cleveland as contenders before the A's.

Hardman, 22 just released by the #Astros after surfacing as their 36th round pick in 2016. 6'5, 240 lbs. w/ a career 4.50 ERA, 39 BB & 56 K over 46 IP. Domnarski, 24 was released by the #Marlins on June 28 (2017 27th round pick). 5'11, 190 lbs. 1.40 ERA over 16 career games. Take a flyer on anybody seems like the strategy.

I don't get the box score thing you have with her. Unless she's running an elaborate scam, she seems to go to a ton of games in the Midwest League and Toledo, and was also in Lakeland and Erie several times this year. Outside of beat writers and traditional media, she's probably seen more Tiger affiliates and prospects than anyone the last few years.
She's always hacking the phones of other scribes who actually go to the games to post their phone videos too.

She can be annoying and seems to constantly seek out attention and love, but I appreciate the amount of content she puts up and the updates on a nightly basis. In the world of Tigers' media, not many come close to what she does, other than maybe the Tigers' 247 twitter account.
80% of her tweets are posting box scores from the minor league teams. Look at the guys at Tigs Town compared to her. They provide actual analysis, and constructive criticism on the players. She’s simply a fan girl. I just scrolled through her Twitter, she’s maybe been to a handful of games outside of West Michigan.
This team sucks every day, but trying to watch Liriano pitch is the worst. I'd rather watch Buck Farmer and Jacob Turner give up bombs than watch Liriano try to navigate through a line-up for 5 innings.
It's not really anything unless he gets hurt. Seven college pitchers were picked in the first round this year. Three of them (Gilbert, Singer, McClanahan) haven't thrown an inning. One of them (Rolison) has made five starts in rookie ball. Two of them (Kowar and Lynch) are in Low A ball, where Lynch is pitching well through three stars and Kowar has gotten shelled. Mize is getting experience and building up his arm so he can throw more innings next year. As long as nothing gets in the way of that from a health standpoint, the results don't really matter that much.
Fuck the Tigers for waiting for Tram and Morris to make the HOF before retiring their jerseys. They should have been retired years ago.
