Tried ashava two more times last night and failed. Must’ve got a bit lucky my first go round bc I did much better the other two when I fully knew what I was doing but we ended up significantly short both times
Geared myself up with the corpse farming to get all legendaries. Got Ashava down to 5% on WT2, didn't die once, probably could have soloed it if it weren't for the random lvl 12-15s that literally died to every single attack every single time.
Overall pretty satisfied thus far, gameplay still needs to be a bit more melee friendly, having bosses where their main mechanics are "constantly running away from you while leaving hazard puddles" just aren't fun period.
it was fine on rogue with a melee only build. i found i could just kind of stand under it and not take damage.
I'm pretty surprised it feels as good as it does, blizzard doesn't have a good record recently. Hopefully they keep it up and the ladder seasons are interesting.
same here. I just keep thinking back to how much fun I had playing d2 back in the day. Hopefully I’m not setting myself up for disappointment. Are we going to make a tmb clan?
Tomorrow the embargo for reviews lifts right? Kinda curious how the reception for the end game stuff will be.
Yea the paragon board system doesn't look full on PoE but it does actually have a ton of complexity to it it seems.
I like how they’ve separated the game too. Like you hit 50 and get access to the capstone dungeon and then the game really begins.
So as a first-time Diablo player who will not be grinding/farming whatsoever and just wants a build that I can get on and play with friends while drinking every once in a while and not be frustrated to the point of disliking the game... what build off of that site or in general would the Diablo vets in here recommend? Previously posted that older brother will most likely be maxed out in every character possible within weeks of release and would join up in the squad and likely carry the team anytime we really wanted him to. So factor that in I guess
Yea I was looking at that but I've never played a Diablo, played like an hour of Path of Exile, and never played WoW. So I've got little to no experience playing MMORPG games and was looking for some input like Odin gave on builds that would be good for my intended use. Realistically I'm not gonna play enough to level up more than one build so if I pick one that's frustrating and un-fun my D4 time will be short
The Notes under "freeze starter sorcerer" on that builds website say everything I want to hear tbh. thank you
I was thinking about taking Friday off but then I looked and noticed I let too many of my people off already. Looks like I’m just gonna work from home and try to game between work.
I'm waiting til standard edition, but I do have next Wed off. I'm completely ready to be the most unproductive piece of shit possible that day.
Haven't decided what class I'm starting with. Probably not Barb, WW doesnt excite me after how much played that build in d3 Druid will be an alt Twisting blade rogue was fun in the beta and the mobility is insanely fast Sorc probably my favorite in all the diablo games so likely starting here Necro seems meh. No mobility, summons suck and bone spear build sounds boring as hell
