The hardest part is you'll never know the answer to how some guys moan because lots of people won't do it for you even if you ask.
He might never breathe free air again this shit is crazy. Dude thought he could get away with shit but forgot that he might be rich but he is still black
what? I’m not excusing anything he did. there is a sitting congressman who is accused of similar shit who isn’t arrested. We have former presidents who have done similar shit who are free. Moreover I never said he was arrested simply because of his race. But, of course starting that race is sometimes more important than class in America’s judicial system is wrong.
so now white guys are gonna get all upset because I dared to say the justice system isn’t color blind.
and that’s not what you said, you pretty much implied that if he was white he would be fine and dandy.
me? What does anything I’ve written have to do with me? Also you really have no idea what life is like for a POC so o really shouldn’t attempt to explain to me what my life experience has been like. But, thanks anyway.
that is true, and I regret making that post. I am sure you dealt with some shit that I have no idea about. I just think that your post was ill advised and it is insulting to victims of your justice system. Black or white doesn’t matter here. You are setting the conversation back with these types of posts.
I make a simple comment and people get all up in their feels. I didn’t excuse his behavior. I didn’t say anything was unjust or wrong. I simply gave my opinion about what I believe about the justice system and imo how sometimes race plays a bigger role than class in it.
But you didn’t just say it happens sometimes. You implied it has a direct effect on diddy and his case. Those aren’t the same thing. edit: I think anyone with his level of Hollywood/music fame would face the same scrutiny regardless of race
I get that on social media. Give your two cents worth and they all come after you with their mind blowing shit
what I said is I believe he thought he’d get away with shit because he is rich but that I believe race often supersedes class in our justice system. It’s simply my opinion you guys clearly disagree and that is fine. At least you and dblplay1212 aren’t going down the racist path of saying POC are always playing the victim.
sooz liked this post, so I think you should read into that He's a shithead, the fact he's black is very tangential. He got Biggie and Tupac killed. Lake of fire.
There’s no doubt that being in the wealth class helps these guys (Cosby, Diddy, Epstein, and countless others) get away with it for as long as they do. Ain’t no way a guy making under 100k is getting away with this shit for 30 years.
Do you think he wouldn't have been arrested if he were white? Simple yes or no will do, sir. That's not to say there's not more white and black guys that should or will be arrested. It took decades for Weinstein, Epstein, Diddy, and R Kelly to get theirs.
Mentioning race always gets you guys in a weird head space. I didn’t defend him at all. I also never said he was arrested simply because he was black.
It's easy to infer that he wouldn't have been arrested if he were white from what you said. Race plays a huge role in way too many things in our society. I don't think it played a role here so no point in bringing it up.
please make sure to type my name accurately next time pal, this is not cool the level of disrespect here is incredible.. i thought I was safe after so many posts on this board but I forgot I was from Canada and so obviously a target of discrimination
I gave my opinion on something. You disagree that’s fine. Like I said introducing race into the equation always seems to bother you guys a lot. It’s as much a statement about class as it is about race but you guys seems to be only bothered by race. If I had simply written he thought he was going to get away with it because he is rich (I would have been discussing the disparity between the rich and the poor in our justice system) you guys would have been fine but once I introduced my opinion about the disparity of race you guys got upset. IHHH went the racist route to explain why I’m wrong about racism in our justice system. Maybe it sounds like defending a pos and that’s what is bothering you. I didn’t think it would ruffle as many feathers as it did.
Well yea, I would have liked the post if you left it about class and moved on bc I would have agreed. I don't think race played a factor at all so I replied to that part. I'm not upset, I just think it's is weird to bring up race in this situation. There's many many many cases where that would be valid. Not here. I absolutely think a white guy would have been arrested in the same situation. If you think him being black played a role in him being arrested after 3 decades, we'll just disagree.
Fwiw if you'd have said "He forgot he wasn't 6 foot tall" or "He forgot he was from NY" I'd have made a similar comment. I think he was arrested bc of his actions and people finally willing to speak about it, nothing more.
Siap but man that's gotta suck just walking into a hotel lobby with your guys and bam there's the fed to lead you away. He didn't argue at all from what we can see but man that's gotta be just an awful feeling. *i don't feel sorry for him at all
My wife’s friend is good friends with Diddys son. She’s been invited to that house before for parties and I always said hell fucking no you’re not going over there. Glad I put my foot down on that. She’s glad now too.
which one? Apparently they both take after their dad Jones’s suit names several other defendants, including Combs’s son Justin; Combs’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, denied Jones’s allegations. In April, a separate lawsuit was filed against Combs’s son Christian Combs, in which a woman alleged that the 26-year-old drugged her and sexually assaulted her on a yacht
you can’t know if she would have enjoyed a good freak out or not so that is a discussion for another day but I think overall you did the right thing.
