So Turning Red is the best Pixar offering in quite a while. What a delight

 

Will watch this weekend but Onward was 3 movies ago (Luca and Soul) so I am extremely skeptical

Coco was only 3 before that. Both of those were phenomenal

 

I think it's without a doubt better than Onward, Luca, or Soul. And I am a massive fan of Luca. Turning Red is extremely weird and specific, I kind of can't believe it's a Pixar movie.

It was good, I liked it but it doesn’t touch Coco or Onward. Not even close

Well there is a certain line towards the end that shows why they would hate it

I guess the people complaining about the main character rebelling against her parents never watched The Little Mermaid, Tangled or Brave.

It also has subtle under tones about supporting Russia.

Other than this line, there is nothing objectionable about the movie. It’s a pretty standard coming of age story.

I dont disagree, but given that line I get why those types of people get upset.

Mainly bc they get upset about that regardless of what's going on.

no spoilers but it’s not a rescue rangers movie. It’s about chip and dale who were in the show rescue rangers

keep an eye out in the background. Lots of funny Easter eggs and things going on

 

I burnt $20 on the Bad Guys movie for the kid last night, forgot this was out,, should have watched it instead.

 

I very much enjoyed chip and dale

 

It was interesting; I liked the call backs to other titles. As for bad guys, we saw it in the theater and it wasn’t too bad.

 

If those chipmunks aren’t busting up drug kingpins and prostitution rings then I’m not watching. Sorry some of us have integrity still.

 

Bad Guys wasn't bad it just didn't live up to stuff like Sing 2 which is kind of what I expected from it (Quality, not music etc.).
