There has to be a huge amount of comedians in Britain that are incredibly envious of John Oliver getting Rowan Atkinson's character. There are a few examples of Americans that are famous in GB but aren't in the US but Oliver is really the only person I can think of where it is the inverse.

He has gotten to be famous over there but a lot of that has been because of the curiosity of why he was already so famous in America.

 

This is something I never thought I would want. Now I want it.

 

i hear bambi does not stand up well to time. like one of the worst movies ever made to watch as an adult.

 

Really is. Bought for my niece when she was like 4 and it came out of the vault. I wanted to kill myself the whole time it was on.

 

google says there's only 900 words of dialogue in Bambi. if you have one scene where there's a decent sized conversation that's the majority of the words in a hour+ movie

Some of Pixar's best scenes are quite long with little or no dialogue. I'm certain I saw it least once as a child by I literally don't remember anything about it other the baby mama getting shot. Nothing but shock porn fake news trying to turn the country against hunting and bearing arms against a dangerous menace imo.

It's not a movie that would be popular today because it's slowly paced, but it's a beautfiul film. I love that era of Disney; where you could see and feel the artistry. Things went cookie cutter in the 60's-80's.

I don’t think I’ve been this excited to see a movie since Logan. It’s rare I go to a theater to watch when they come out but I will 100% be sitting my ass in a theater opening night for this.

Just watched the clip with my 4 year old and he’s beyond excited. Take all my money. All of it
