Do or have you donated money or time to your favorite College/University?

What little I could afford to donate to Kentucky wouldn't accomplish shit. Lynchburg College, my alma mater aka University of Lynchburg, never would interview me for several jobs I applied for there so fuck em.

 

I've donated tiny sums to the college of business, but not in a long time

 

Booster, alumni association, baseball club, college of communication.

 

Yale Cancer Center and Ole Miss athletics every year

I used to donate time to UCLA medical center but current schedule makes that impossible now

 

Yes. Have worked here for 11 years and my wife works in the wider development team, so I don’t really have a choice (but would, regardless)

 

I donate to the university but not specifically to football bc all they do is piss me off

 

I donate 3 hours of my day 12 times a year to watch the worst product of football you will ever see. I’ll buy season tickets when Neal and Gordon gee are gone, that comes with a required donation

I donate to my college because a lot of the good I have in my life is directly connected to my time in college (wife, friends, job)

I indirectly donate to get my suite tickets out of a group of us that share a suite.

I bought a brick thing for the new basketball facility

I’ve randomly given $20 here or there when they make students call asking for money just to make the students feel like they’re not in prison for nothing

I donate 50% of my income to the NIL collective.

 

Yes to the University General Scholarship fund, to the AD, and to the non-Brian Schottenstein NIL collective.

 

Yea we're full Grove Collective now for Ole Miss donations.

MLS donates to Yale, UT (Anderson), Vandy, USC, and UCLA I believe for cancer research.

 

Yes. Annually to my undergrad accounting school and to each of the two law schools I attended.

Probably should redirect some of that to Ole Miss NIL

 

That's all of them but I was debating hard on giving money to Northwestern this year also

No, I moved several states away for grad school right after graduating and then eventually across the country, I don’t feel super connected to the university. My primary connection being through football and the fuckery of the ncaa the past decade has probably made it worse.

 

Tried to buy it outright, ownership cares more about having it than the sale price

 

As a Cotton bowl and Citrus bowl winner I know my money is no good at my schools.

But I give a little bit to both business schools every year but if either calls me one more damn time I’m done. Actually, I give more to TMB because I learn more here than those two institutions combined.

 

I made a gift to the business school when it was being rebuilt at Clemson and I am a Riggs donor for IPTAY.

my in law has been going there for treatment and they have done a fantastic job. Had been wanting her to go to md anderson or mayo or something i was more familiar with, went up to YCC last year and couldnt have been more impressed with the doctor and facility and hotel, etc.

good on you for donating to these hospitals. The research and studies are really starting to break through.

 

This nightmare of an athletic department responsible for isn't getting keeping the ferentz gang isn't getting a penny from me. I have, however, donated to the U of I childrens hospital.

 

I don’t think I’ve hung up the phone faster than when my university called me asking for donations like a week after graduation.

 

Last time Auburn called me for a donation it was during a CWS game couple years ago and we were losing like 8-0.

I kind of demanded more but if I'm honest I didn't try real hard.
