Thursday toured the year before the pandemic for their 20 year anniversary. Night 1 was Full Collapse. Night 2 was War All The Time. Back to back amazing shows both nights.
Getting a good chuckle out of bands like the bled performing in 2021 Bunch of mid 40s dudes playing post-hardcore songs
I saw blink 182 in like 2004. Taking back Sunday opened and Motion City played a set on this tiny stage out by the concession area. I enjoyed it but would have paid a ton of money for that show a couple years later when I was really into tbs and mcs.
I loved IKSSE3, I never could find an album of there’s other than that that was even in the same stratosphere for me.
they have a song titled A, which when I plug my phone into my USB port in my car it always starts with the first song on my phone alphabetically, which is that song.
I went to a lot of shows in hs/college. Never saw Dashboard or Brand New. Finally saw them in my mid 20s and it was everything I'd hoped for.
I went to a million and one shows and probably the best emo show I ever went to was Jealous Sound. Lead singer and me drank a bunch of PBR I paid for.
I’m out of my element with a lot of these bands/songs definitely one genre where there are several subgroups
emo is a stupid topic. it means so many things to so many. plus most of us who love Brand New, Dashboard, Etc love the ancillary rock bands just as much if not more.
Josh and Alex are super good dudes, hung out with Josh when I saw Thursday, still good people. Jeremy was always an asshole.
