i really enjoyed the first two Bayside albums and the first acoustic album. saw them open for Vendetta Red in 05, right as the self titled album came out.
I am now trying to go Just saw a country concert at this venue last Thursday, really diversifying my portfolio
That song is real good. I’m not super familiar with their whole progression, but I feel like newer stuff moved in a poppier direction?
Last full-length was two years ago, so they’re probably working on one. It has a few twinklier tunes but still went hard on others. This is my favorite Microwave song. It’s insanely good.
Sorority noise was actually one of the better shows i went to the last 5 years or so. Them and oso oso together
That dudes other band Old Gray was great too. Different. Screamo, like real Saetia screamo, not like some of the other nonsense posted in here
I was thinking to myself, wow, this could not be any more text book pop punk and then fucking Travis barker showed up
While we’re on the subject of cancelled bands, the Cardboard Swords were so great. Apparently really terrible dudes though.
90% of emo, pop punk, hardcore bands now have either had someone sexually assault a girl or solicit minors
Rutgers in early aughts had tons of great shows in the area, either on campus or shitty clubs like birch hill or krome. I’m sure this applies to many people in this thread, but saw Brand New, MCS, Dashboard, armor for sleep, Mae, etc, so many times in tiny venues, good times.
Prince Daddy and the Hyena is my favorite of the fourth/fifth wave emo bands. Shout out also to Oso Oso
