Brisket bowl at qdoba is as good as it gets at a chain burrito place. You guys probably just ordered something shitty. :yousoricky:

One of my very best friends loves the place. When we still lived in Athens he would eat Qdoba and shit his pants almost immediately. When I say shit his pants he would start with the worst gas imaginable and inevitably shit himself at some point later that day gambling on a fart. Never failed. He shit his pants in General's one night sitting at the bar.

He still loves the place to this day.

I mean the bar isn't high here. It's better than what they are serving at Moe's or Chipotle.

Barberitos is the best but I don't have one close by.

I'm with you on Barberitos. Chipotle, Moe's, etc are all about the same to me. Slight differences but I'm fine with either.

Talking about Burritos makes me miss Burrito Gallery in Jax.

I had a couple bad experiences at qdoba before I found the right combination. They have a lot of options.. 4 meats, tons of salsas, couple different quesos even.

My favorite burrito spot is local and turns around and cooks your protein to order.

Chipotle is the best of the shitty options (Qdoba, Moes, Willy’s, etc) but it’s never warm.

Once the sour cream and hot salsa is added it goes from lukewarm to cold. I can eat it every once in a while but I’d prefer to grab street tacos.

I’ll eat chipotle if my other options are fast food.

Typically eat at currito around here. I know they have a few locations in other states.

lots of food trucks 'round these parts that are good as shit and you don't exactly know what's in the food when you order it. Not talking about chef Carlos of the O'Kellys.

I fuck with Chipotle. Seems more spiced and seasoned than Moes usually. Idk, maybe my local Moes is bland as fuck. Chipotle adding queso dip for me to add to my burrito completely changed the game for me and I left Moes forever.

I used to be a regular at Chipotle #1 right after it opened right next to Denver University, so the nostalgia pull is real. Barbacoa with my usual toppings, rice, etc. is shockingly similar to 1993, but there was no competition back then. It's mediocre at best, but the chain restaurant wasteland nearest to me can't beat it mostly b/c I won't eat fast food or Chili's clones any more. I hardly ate it before the pandemic, but the one nearest to me opened a Chipotlane drive thru last year that ramps convenience way up.

I eat chipotle all the time, mostly because it's one of the few places my kids agree on. Most other places they talk about with TMB-like comments: 'I love that place, let's go there" "No, it'll make me poop my pants".

my kids like it and I can track what I eat and chicken, rice and veggies is healthier than most other options on the table. Ordering via the app and quick pickup is clutch too.

As someone that eats a lot of Chipotle, I'm talking numerous times per week, it is very site dependent on the specific store on what your experience will be. In my city there is one that is straight garbage, using that term wasn't intentional but the last time I ate there I literally found plastic garbage in my food. If you only ate at this one you would have every right to shit talk Chipotle. Another one I used to frequent was good, you knew you were getting at worst an average meal. I have one that opened across the street from my office a couple years ago and it is great. Meat is always cooked and seasoned very well, pico is always fresh, etc. Also, they obviously recognize me at this point so I get the tortilla on the side and a bowl to go to make my own burrito back at the office, and that bad boy weighs a couple pounds when they are done.

Keep two credit cards and my license in an iphone case. Also, my phone is my car key and my house key, it's awesome to be able to not have to deal with a wallet or car keys anymore. Obviously pretty fucked if I lose my phone though.

Well Taco Bell, being authentic Mexican food, has a higher standard when it comes to their food quality than Americanized Mexican restaurants like chipotle

As the official state restaurant and guardian of Texan authenticity, Texas Roadhouse establishes the standard for all officially recognized Texas foods including the entire Tex-Mex sub genre. It’s not authentic unless it carries the Texas Roadhouse blessing. Right a.tramp ?
