See poll based on age
Haven’t used it in a decade.
Stopped when my dad started posting.
I kept it for a while after I moved away to keep in touch with friends, ditched it a year or so ago.
Had it back when it was just for @Harvard.Edu users.
but deleted when I lost my janitor job at Harvard.
Have it for messenger and occasionally scroll through my feed when bored. Haven’t posted in like 6 years.
How else am I supposed to keep up with my family's thinly veiled racism?
I use it like a sumbitch. I'm 35, which the hell option am I supposed to pick in this flaud poll?
I rarely post anything, but I have found it interesting and useful at times.
Wow, that is some Boo MFer! level disrespect of elders right there.
Hit the "post on Facebook" button when making an IG post
Depends are you feeling young or feeling old
Can't stand people that post the exact same thing on both
38, and I usually make one post a year and thats update my profile pic.
Not on instagram, twitter, snapchat, etc.
How else are you supposed to double dip in likes?
I'm just shy of 35.5 so I'm gonna round down for now! Thanks
deleted it when I graduated college 5-6 years ago
It's like a like from dump. How good can you feel about it when it's that easy to get
Hey man, not all my insta-friends are Facebook friends and vice versa. This way I can ensure that all my loyal followers know how awesome my life is!
I deactivated my account in 2009
Each platform should tell a different part of the story. Craft the post so that it fits that narrative. Just some lazy social network producers out there
Only occasionally to beat off to pictures of girls I didn’t get to hook up with in high school or my wife’s friends
I use it strictly for birthday reminders
No. Now I must live with my crippling ignorance of the vacations and children's activities of people I have not spoken to in over a decade.
Mostly for restaurant and bar events
Stopped in 2012. I don’t think I’m missing out?
I've never had a Facebook account.
I use it to read the dumb comments on news stories but I always deactivate my account when I’m done.
I used it strictly for event/party invites. Sorry I was ahead of the game.
Same. I'll occasionally look at my wife's page but usually get bored p quickly
I’ve used it to sell my kid’s old toys and I also like to creep on a closed group for parents in my school district to bitch about EVERYTHING. Don’t post anything any more
Thinking back, this was probably a big part of me stopping as well. My mom would use the comments like a fucking group text on every post I made.
I check the “memories” page once a day to see what I posted on this day throughout the past 10 years. Then delete anything problematic
I use it as much or more than TC probably does. No fucks given or ragrets. Please respect my decision and my wish to not grant interviews at this time.
Everything's always something my ex posted during our beautiful relationship so I never look
Allow us to change our votes, you tyrant
Actually this isn't true. I made a fake account 10+ years ago that was part of an semi-elaborate troll involving me and some other razorback message boarders. I was messaging this skanky girl. I was saying flirty things and shit, the whole point was to get her to come post in a thread. Anyway my wife found it and legit thought I was having an affair and was furious talking about divorcing me. I had to spend quite a bit of time going through my post & pm history to prove I was just fucking with these people. She still was skeptical for a bit
How else would I keep up with the pyramid scheme du jour?
Still have an account, rarely use it.
I still have an account. Use it mostly for details for local events. Have one group message with some friends, I occasionally look at that for a minute until I get bored and post a gay sex gif. Probably havent posted in 5ish years, but I could be wrong.
45 years old, still have facebook. Rarely post anything anymore. I like to check my memories on a daily basis and that's pretty much it
I use it for bday reminders and to learn about events in my area. I could not careless about posting anything or what others post for the most part.
I still have an account, but don’t use it. The last dozen times I’ve gotten onto it all I see are people’s travel pics, pics of kids, and dumbasses I went to high school with arguing on Facebook. I can seek out the travel/baby pics of the people I care about on Instagram or through my relatives directly.
The last thing I remember actually posting on Facebook was changing my profile picture to a picture of my girlfriend and I (from our most recent trip) while dealing with some fallout stemming from some dumb ass shit I did while drunk. If your significant other and her friends still use Facebook, it can be a pretty useful tactic.
If I haven't reached out to you in a few years through old world methods then I really don't care if you're still alive or that you think you have something to say.
Facebook is actually a pretty good way to keep up with bands and record labels you might like. I've gotten promo codes for tickets through it, too.
