I recently picked up a pair of knockoff OOFOS in the hopes that recovery shoes would help some nagging joint pain. Anyone else had success with recovery shoes/sandals or just wear house shoes for comfort? If so, what brands? I’m open to spending more on something quality like OOFOS but figured I’d try cheapies first.
The ones I bought are $15 knockoffs of these. https://www.oofos.com/products/mens-sandal-ooahh-slide-black?variant=19099993989
My wife wears Hoka One sandals for her plantar fasciitis. I usually wear no show socks. Not a barefoot guy.
It wasn’t a thing for me till we moved into our current house. Hardwood floors kill my arches. So have a pair of indoor only Hey Dudes (most comfy slip-ons I’ve ever owned) and slides.
I spent a lot on OOFOS and I hate them. Much prefer some cheap flip flops around the house. Definitely preferred over barefoot.
You literally put shoes in the thread title and used our icon. Tf did you think this was going to go?
I recently learned that my brother is essentially a never nude as it relates to shoes, even in his own house. What kind of psycho am I related to??
Help you recover from a workout. Essentially, recovery shoes are comfy slippers or slides that you step into after a run or a workout to help swollen, sweaty feet cool down and, well, recover from all the hard work you've put them through.
I'm a barefoot king. I wore house slippers for a while, but having complete toe freedom is where it's at.
I just point a special red light flashlight at my feet after a workout. The best part is when my dick gets in the way of the beam, it grows.
I wear oofos sandals. Love them. I have abnormally high arches and just underwent a fasciotomy for my plantar fasciitis. Only time I don't have something on my feet is in bed ornin the shower.
Slippers, house shoes and recovery shoes for sure indoors. Barefoot in the summer though or recovery shoes.
Hoka one one recovery slides. Game changers. Also have some Walmart knock off slides but not as good as the hoka’s.
Id like a new poll, is this the softest thread on tmb? You need special shoes to help your feet after all you put them through going for a run? wtf are feet for?
You may need more support and less cushion if oofos aren’t working. I doubt the Hoka recovery glides will make much difference either. I wear Haflingers around the house most of the year. Cork footbed, felted horsehair upper and midsole. Very comfortable, little padding, lots of support. They aren’t cheap but I wear them all day everyday and only in the house.
