I simply hate canesfan for his hockey bullshit and that’s enough for me Spider-Monkey, find the thread if you want a future 1
Wife went to the Hollywood Bowl last night with her sister to see Earth Wind and Fire and the fireworks show. She had a headache all day so we bailed on family stuff early and just enjoyed some beef ribs for dinner. She's passed out on the couch and I just took a break from watching "The Deer Hunter" to grab another beer and post about my life on this message board. 4th of July at 52 is different from years past but I'm not complaining.
he is a dipshit conservative who thinks bernie sanders killed his slave owning grandpa you should hate him more
so incredibly easy to say “i don’t support this current political party i openly supported on here for years” but hmm as soon as they gain total power, he can no longer talk ball. weird!
Met a girl from Mexico who previously lived in Denver and i later learned is a massive Trumper. I genuinely think she’d be an ICE target because Miller pumped up quotas, it would probably take that to get her off maga train.
Cornelius bud yeah had stuff scraped, I’ve had severe sunburns and can’t happen again. Jersey Shore dipshits getting skin cancer seems inevitable.
cabin, cribbage, busch and a couple edibles with the family now to suffer in 80 degree, 85% humidity weather trying to sleep
my dad never got shit or did shit for the 4th which is weird for an “America Fuck Yeah” republican but I guess his cheapness won out over his patriotism. Me and my sister had to watch all the neighborhood kids let off their fireworks. Probably were my hate of fireworks was born. I think before we moved into ucla family housing I bought some fireworks for my kids but it wasn’t something I was ever into. I just didn’t want them to feel out of place although they were young as fuck and probably didn’t care. In retrospect that was probably me dealing with my father issues lol.
However many deviled eggs you think you have in the fridge post-dinner, just assume zero will be there in the morning. My last family gathering there were two trays (approx 28 deviled eggs) going into 10pm, I recused a couple in a bowl and put a napkin over it as a deterrent. Zero left in the morning but someone did take the couple out of the bowl and neatly put the napkin back on top of the empty bowl.
Didn't read and no idea if any of this is similar (JPP article on his firework mishap) but fuck touching any firework shit. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...gers-accident-ten-years-later-new-york-giants
Today has been cool. took groot for a two mile walk. Was able to break out my new weighted vest. On the 5th Jurassic Park movie and had more than a few 805 cervezas. Fireworks are fucking with Groot which sucks
Not too crazy (I think) but we used to unwind the black cat firecrackers packs into singles with their paper wicks that exploded in like half a second. Idk how one never blew up in my hand.
As promised. Jerk chicken, festival, rice & peas, and Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce. Also made some Jamaican cucumber salad to because why not. 8.2 out if 10. Will sweat again!
This isn't a critique or anything, but if you run it back at some point I'd consider grilling the lime and adding some heat (minimal, like 1-2 minutes) to the cucumber salad. Obviously different profile but food for thought to test options there and see which is preferred.
Reasonable take. I thought a grilled Cesar sounded terrible but a michelin star chef convinced me to try it and I love it occasionally now. Try a bunch of shit and figure out what you're into is pretty much my mentality.
Grilled caesar is great. The idea behind the cucumber salad on this dish is to cool and refresh the palate from all the spice and chiles that make up the main dish. Not only do you lose some cooling effect but you lose some pop from the vinegar which helps with that when you heat it up. I don’t have a Michelin star tho.
Yea that wasn't supposed to be a brag, it just wasn't much of a trend here in the 2010 era and an Italian chef pushed it as being great, which was my first introduction to it.
