Stuff previously labeled boy scout values are still coded male and are largely very good.

The dipshits intentionally trying to label all masculinity as the target of the invective of "toxic masculinity" are typically right leaning propagandists or literal insane people (not mutually exclusive).

The most idealistic framing I can think of:

Using your inherent physical strength/social standing as a man to better the lives of your loved ones/community.

I suppose the big three for me would be:

    - Stoicism (that DOES NOT equate to emotionlessness, it simply means not letting personal distress or emotional highs and lows cloud your judgment or rationality)
    - Self-sacrifice (possessing the empathy and strength of will to take difficult actions that put aside personal gain or comfort if it will ease the burdens of others)
    - Service (putting the talents, skills, and abilities you possess into use for the net benefit of the community or society that you belong to)

These are not meant to be exclusively male traits, but they are typically the ways in which I measure the worth of a man.
