I second this motion. But I would kill to have a chocolate lab. If Pixel ever gets one, I'm in trouble.
Just a reminder that these babies will be of age in about 5 weeks. The litter we have right now had two pups that were gray with blue eyes, they are getting a massive amount of apps. Figure these will be the same, and there's 11 of them, I am excite. If you are in Florida or Georgia, let me know if you want to apply for one.
Dave does the same thing. He tries to bite the water out of the hose. At least it makes it easier to clean him off. Molly runs like it’s poisen.
My boi is being really weird this week. He started marking his territory on Tuesday, but he hasn’t been aggressive or anything. He’s just not being playful at all. He won’t take take treats out of my hand or lay on the couch with me. He may have had an allergic reaction to something in a friend’s backyard last weekend because his eyes were swollen but idk.
So over this weekend, my dog developed some sort of bladder issue. She has always been able to hold it without issues while we were working or would sleep for 12 hours easily on weekends. However, yesterday she starting crying to go outside and peed like 15 times in a 20 minute walk. This morning, she jumped out of the bed to go outside about 90 minutes earlier than she ever goes out during the week. Nothing with her eating/drinking habits has changed. Maybe she is just getting old (8) but definitely is not acting normal.
Sounds like a UTI. Your vet will be able to get you some antibiotics that will knock it out if that is what it is.
Dogs can pick up UTIs. My dog had one a year or two ago and was fiending for water and he'd piss himself when sleeping. Also needed to go out to pee like every 20 minutes. Vet gave him some antibiotics and cleared it right up .
New video of Boo's litter, the gray and white ones I posted the other day - https://video.ftpa1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t42.9040-2/33228435_335153390344769_4041077446827573248_n.mp4?_nc_cat=0&efg=eyJybHIiOjI3MTgsInJsYSI6MTAyNCwidmVuY29kZV90YWciOiJzdmVfaGQifQ==&rl=2718&vabr=1812&oh=98f08077de50bfe57695b023f504328f&oe=5B0501AE
Called the vet this afternoon to schedule annual exam / shots for one of the dogs. I think the receptionist thought I said “anal” exam because after I said that she asked if I wanted the vaccinations along with the anal gland expression. I then repeated annual and she didn’t figure it out.
dump and other animal health workers. Found this growth on the GF's dog this weekend. Have an appt on thurs but any thoughts on this? Spoiler
I think it's just a wart or a benign growth. Truman had something similar as a puppy. Had all these growths on the inside of his mouth. Thought he was dying of cancer or something. Turned out to be 'puppy hpv' as it was explained. Very contagious, but harmless. Kind of like chicken pox. Goes away in a few weeks then they're immune to it. From what I remember, that's what the growths looked like. Except hers is on the outside of her mouth.
one of these little girls is gunna be mine get to pick her out on the 19th She will come home on the 26th
She's doing an 11 x 14 for me for $200. I also had the option of one 8 x 10 for $125 or two for $200.
Yes it is probably some type of cyst or wart whether it is papilloma (the kind you described) or another one. Just a normal antibiotics course should take care of it by either shrinking it or it falling off
Not sure if we got any vets on the board. 1 y.o. pup is on her second worm infestation of her life (happened y mos ago too). Lots of diarrhea. After treating, how do i make this not happen anymore?
Mines gotten giardia twice because he wants to put anything his mouth. Basically short leash, and I use a easy leader harness to control his head. He also gets a monthly/every 3 month dewormer like all dogs should.
