Literally any time there is a dog/dog noise on tv. He’s perfectly capable of standing up and destroying the tv, luckily he hasn’t done that yet
She’s a 15 yr old chihuahua who runs the house, and she clearly wants something at the moment because she is just glaring at us in disapproval
So I've been gone a while. In the meantime, we got this guy. He's 7 months now, nearly full grown, and he's a duck hunting machine.
Our 9 year old golden doodle has a few of them. Vet says they are old man spots, which makes me unbelievably sad. But nothing to worry about unless they grow.
Just dropped my pup at the clinic to get fixed. She lost her shit me leaving. I do hope it helps calm her down. Maybe all the mail dogs in the neighborhood will stop harassing her now.
If he could, he'd swim for hours on end for his own pleasure/exercise When we are up at the cabin, I'll stick a PFD on him, be off doing upkeep within distance, and let him swim till he passes out (Not a personal promotion, finally gave into Instagram to save all of his videos and pictures for memories)
Is it common for dogs to not drink water after getting fixed. My pup hasn’t drank anything since I got her yesterday afternoon.
It's the Rx's. Tramadol by chance? Try mixing in something sweet like butter with the water or a mixture of wet food and water. If it's after 48 hours, call your vet.
Didn’t want to but I’m gonna have to resort to a shock collar. My dog is so stubborn. She’s started chasing after cars while I’m outside throwing the ball to her and what not. I don’t have a fenced yard.
Try a tether? We have Tosu on a 30 foot one, until we can build a fence. We also have a shock collar, but only use the warning beep, as it does it's job.
Yeah. Ideally I don’t want to shock her. She has other behaviors that are trouble. Me and my wife are trying and she’s made multiple comments that unless my dog gets better then we can’t have her if another child comes along so I’m trying to nip it in the bud.
I'm not against shock collars, I think they can be real training tools. Hell, one shock and she might learn and just need the beep like our dog. And you've tried other ways, so I'd say it's worth a shot.
Groot nearly pulled my arm out of my socket this morning going after a Maltese. He has a long memory about a week or two ago same dog snapped at him. The asshole walking him let him get too close. Today on his morning walk he saw him and when the dog growled at him, he went after him and caught me off guard. I was holding his leash with one hand so he yanked me good.
Weird behavior from a Maltese. They are quite possibly the friendliest, most amicable breed. No doubt a shitty owner
