Thank you guys It’s been a long 36 hours or however long it’s been. He has the virus and on top of that he was covered in fleas and had intestinal parasites. Luckily they caught the virus early. I just spoke to the doctor and the little guy ate 3 times yesterday, and is having a good morning. Barring any setbacks the doctor is hopeful we will be able to bring him home tonight or tomorrow morning. We have washed all of our sheets and bedding, now we just have to disinfect all hard surfaces. The good news is he cannot be reinfected once he makes it through this
I always wanted a husky. Fiance wasn't huge on getting one, so then I thought about a GS. Obviously ended up with the husky, lol.
These rawhides are giving my pup the shits like crazy. Took her out 4 times between 10-12 last night and she shit every time, multiple on a few trips. No more.
Yeah that happens. What is the frequency that you give them? Might just be a bad batch, but I did the same thing when I was giving my dog a bully stick.

We are home!! He is like a new dog. Playing with toys, eating, drinking lots of water, running around. He is amazing, I’m so proud of him
We have to give him 2 ML of liquid medicine a day via a syringe. Does anyone have any tips on doing this? Just gave him his first dose, it wasn’t awful but it wasn’t easy. I want to make it as easy as possible for him
be firm, quick and precise. After that you get to the happy part and give him a treat. he will never like it
Anybody know why dogs love water from a hose like that? They all seem to want to drink the stream from filling the bowl, as well. Maybe an old instinct thing/drinking from a stream in the wild?

Put a sprinkler in the backyard to let the dogs play with it. They just ran around it trying not to get wet. Wife wants to put a kiddie pool out there, which I would love, but we have long haired dogs and it would suck to have to dry them off every time we have the pool out there. I know they would love it though so idk. Deciding on if I want to deal with that or not.
Sent this to my township titled dog park No reason this should have ever been closed to begin with. I can go to a restaurant but can’t run my dogs. How about you take the lock off. He got a hot spot. First health issue I have had with him. It freaked me the fuck out. Seriously did not know what was going on. Two weeks ago I thought my girl was gonna die. She was whinny all night. Like literally crying. I had never seen her that way. I told my wife “our girl is dying”. Mind you I was drunk had grilled and had forgot to tell my youngest to feed her. She takes meds to help with her seizures. They make her hungry. In the morning I feed her and she fell asleep. Turns out or baby hippo was just hungry. I feel like shit but it was like 9 hours.
I make sure she never misses a meal. My pups get feed twice a day so she was feed that morning she just missed her pm meal. Groot sometimes won’t eat for a day. So I didn’t think it was that.
It’s a terrible feeling when your pet tells you something is wrong but you can’t know what the issue really is. Sometimes it’s minor, but it’s still shitty because they can’t express exactly what they need

I hope you are kidding, when my parents dog started to have issues I was a complete mess and you understood. when he died one year later I was even more crushed and everybody here understood. It’s not dumb to care about your dog

All good. But nah I love my pups. I have no shame in feeling what I do. I also have a Maine Coon I love. I am an animal lover.
