This just popped up on my dog's eye within the last few days. Looks like a skin tag or something. Almost looks like a tick, but it isn't. (I don't think) I tried pulling at it to make sure. It's soft. Its in the corner of her eye, almost attached to the inside. It doesn't seem to bother her. Dump what could this be on the right corner?
Dont really know what it is but my dog has something similar on the bottom eye lid. It doesnt bother him or anything it doesnt seem like but it doesnt come off. I'm guessing its some type of skin tag or something. It's not like an eye cherry or anything. I would say if it doesnt bother her then just keep and eye on it and just bring it up whenever you go for a check up.
We got Tosu a bed, and he refuses to acknowledge it. He's happier sleeping on the porch, or the recliner, or the couch.
Well of course. I'm actually throwing my dog's bed out today. Spoiler I will buy her another one after Christmas though.
As y’all know I had to put down my 12 and a half year old lab about two months ago. Before I buried him we got a cast of his paw then I got a couple of prints prior to burying him. I made this for my wife for Christmas and short of cutting a piece of glass and adding something to hold a picture it is done. My wife is going to cry hard Christmas morning.
We did something similar with Kaiser’s ashes, but they are still at the vet. My wife hasn’t been ready to pick them up.
Both my dogs have developed bad habits during covid. My husky who loves being outside has now decided since we are home all the time it must mean we want to take him out on walks or play with him outside and constantly just knocks at the back door to come in, but when we open it he runs trying to get us to chase him or something. He's 5 years old and gets walked / taken to dog park every day and never did that before. It also doesn't help we moved during covid and new house has a sliding back door so he can look in and see us. Our lab mix on the other hand, who is also recovering from surgery and has been super protective that we have a new baby, has gotten way too used to my wife always being home to the point she starts crying if my wife leaves. She also is so used to social distancing and no strangers being over, so goes apeshit anytime someone comes to the house now. I dont know what to do with her
Another question for advice to break habits. Our 9-month golden loves to dig since we got a fence a few weeks ago. Anyone have tips to break it? I have two ideas. She loves to dig in the soil near the fence. I was thinking of get a lot of wood chips to put around that area with the hope the wood chips is less fun to dig in. However, she does still love digging in the grass so it might reduce it but won't stop it. Shock collar. We have a decently size yard so its hard to immediately get on her when we see her doing it. My thought is we could put the eCollar on when she goes in the yard and give her a slight buzz whenever she starts to dig. She is a very sensitive dog so won't like it and it should break it. I don't love the idea of a shock collar so looking for guidance and success stories who have used one for similar training.
Put her poop in the holes she digs Shock collar will only help if you are watching her the entire time she is outside If she gets to dig at all without correction, I don't think she will associate the digging itself with the correction
lol. our husky scratches at the front door to go sit on the porch. when he's bored, he'll scratch the door, we'll go to let him out, and he runs away trying to get us to play. either that, or as soon as you get up to let him out he hurries and takes the chair. he's a bastard.
I just assume my $600 stimulus check is going to go entirely to these damn things He got his 5th one tonight for Xmas and got the squeaker right out in like 20 minutes

Anyone do agility? Dierks will be 8 in Feb. I've avoided it because the place I want to go to is frequented by an ex. 8 isn't too old, correct?
NYE and 4th are so brutal on our pointer. Her vet gave us a new type of tranquilizer and said wearing one of our shirts might help.
I’d love to do this but they don’t offer our pet food so I still have to go to the fucking store every month.
They were that way for us for awhile and then we looked again and they started carrying what we used. Check back periodically.
