We have Fetch and it reimburses at 90%. Just lost our dog a few weeks ago and already go my our refund check.
Have had Nationwide with wellness reimbursement since he was a pup. It was fairly reasonable for the first few years but skyrocketed this year after he turned 5. Going to need to run the numbers at the end of the policy term next year and see if it's still worth doing the wellness reimbursement portion.
We have ManyPets which had the best user experience for submitting claims and all, but the premiums have grown too much since we signed on, 60% growth in just a few years. Switching to a slightly worse Nationwide plan through my wife’s job that brings costs back under $100 a month.
Pup coming home November 3, super pumped. Dog insurance is relevant to my interests. I want to be a lot better about my dog's diet than I was with Nugget -- I want to cook her some simple rice and chicken and other veggies, but that probably won't be an every night thing. Speak to me on premium dog foot. Is Farmer's Dog legit? I see their ads everywhere.
We feed our three Farmers Dog. It’s great at home but if you’re traveling or even sending them to be boarded it’s a pain in the ass you have to figure out for.
I pay 20$ a month and bring her to a place where they do it, it’s dumb. I basically hold her while they cut it. Might as well do it at home but the gf doesn’t like it.
Prior to 3-4 days ago my Brittany Spaniel would live in the backyard if I let her. For the last few days, she has basically refused to go out there. I'll leave the door open and stand in the yard and she won't even step foot on the porch. I've gotten her to go out here and there but shes not out there longer than 2-3 minutes. Today I let her out front and she didn't hesitate at all. Leash walk, no problem. My best guess is a snake or some other critter has her spooked? Appetite is good, energy seems fine, maybe a little lethargic. Doesn't seem injured. Wish she could tell me what's up, so odd.
I'm guessing you are right, she saw something that scared her. Is the grass high? If so maybe you mow it and walk her around to see there's nothing bad out there
My grass is good but right up against my metal bar fence is crazy overgrown public property. Snakes, opossums, raccoons, coyotes, god knows what else.
I got notice long timer and best friend Deebs will not be at the shelter today when I get there. I got to see him Thursday but that doesn't lessen the sting. After 4 failed adoptions and many who are unable or unwilling to work with him time has expired. RIP Good Boy
Picking up this monster on November 3. Can't fucking wait Spoiler Still have no idea on a female name. Been more difficult than I thought it would be
Anybody use a GPS dog collar? Tractive and Whistle look to be decent. Had a bunch of Instagram ads for Fi, but the reviews look terrible.
she is gorgeous, she looks like an angel….of course she will have her little devil time though. My girl is turning 1 years and 5 months old this weekend. What a great decision to adopt her. No regrets at all, the first month can be challenging but after that it is great, and If I am not mistaken you are a hiker so walks will be just a breeze for you. Will she be able to go on hikes with you when she is an adult?
The golden one is a malinois, he is my dog’s boyfriend. They love each other. The fat little springer is my parents dog, I was dog sitting nvm, I can’t post from my phone it looks like
We lost our pup a 2 years ago after 14 great years. About to buy our replacement and need TMB's opinion: Option 1: Option 2: Option 3: I think I'm leaning towards #3 based just on appearance.
fair request. I’ve fostered 2 dogs since ours passed. Held them until I could find them a home. I know rescuing is the noble thing to do, but I’ve selfishly always wanted a GSP.
My girlfriend’s GSP is a demon but a beautiful dog. Very loving but tears the damn yard up digging for chipmunks and other critters. She loves being covered completely up but has to have some part of her body touching you when asleep. we rescued a year old mix about 6 months ago and those two are inseparable now. The GSP over hyper-ness has really calmed down with having a playmate now, best decision we could make. I say all of that for this. Do both. Pick your GSP out and rescue you another one.
