They have no confidence and still lack an in-game leader. Fear is a cohesive "leader," not really a strategic one. Going back to the true sight series, they would have multiple guys making decisions and that doesn't work. (In anything, not just dota) Not a coincidence that pretty much all good teams right now have dictators for captains. (Secret, Liquid, VP, Mineski)
it might be the patch, but sumail is also nowhere near as dominant as he once was (especially later in the game)
Mid is basically a 2 on 2 now, which kind of sucks. The reason he was so good previously was because he would shit on the enemy mid and snowball out of control by like 20 minutes.
Hope the new patch changes things for them, it's depressing to watch. Their individual skill is top tier, but they seem lost alot. They should have 2-0d Newbee.
I don’t think it’s patch related, I just think they make shit decisions regarding team fights and ganks
pretty sure these are my records for dmg and lhs https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3529200310 felt like this is the closest i've come to solo carrying a game, though everyone was at least somewhat "decent." but it was one of those games where no one pushed even if we wiped them or had four kills. it was a rough game up until i had bought manta because i could then get out of the NS silences. i think i W-dodged 80% of Void's chronos and he must have hated me by the end of the game.
Wtf. Randoming is shit now. No bonus gold but free mango and gg branch Party queue mmr just jumped 500 points for team TMB
Just situational I think. Looks like it'll be real good against kite-able melee cores like PA/Sven/Ursa/WK
All unique attack modifiers are gone. Wow. I remember always building 2 orbs when I first started and getting flamed for it lol.
Those courier changes! No more bottle crowing. Support nerfs like crazy though. Courier and ward and smoke costs.
I feel this is buffed but not sure: Battle Fury now requires a Demon Edge instead of Claymore + Broadsword (cost is 400 cheaper). Attack damage reduced from 55 to 50 Cleave distance increased from 570 to 625 Cleave end radius increased from 300 to 330 Also BUtterfly active no longer disabled evasion which is awesome. And bloodstone no longer gives healing on death , which is dumb. Also HOLY FUCK at diffusal changes. Not sure how I feel about that Good god MKB changes are confusing the fuck out of me tbqh
Lich got only a hint of nerf to speed slow on early levels of ice armor. And that’s it. *edit* actually forgot they nerfed ranged creep exp so he no longer crippled the offlane as much, nvm AAAAND at level 25 you get a choice between skadi talent and ice armor ALSO giving +30hp regen. Bless you icefrog. Viper reworks are gonna take some getting used to. He gets an AOE break now so idk wtf to think about that.
Lion gets a 325 AOE Hex upgrade at 20. Holy fucking shit. Nyx 25 is either +100 agility or fucking NoClip Riki: Enemy units in Smoke Screen have no vision. Permanent invis at 25. HOLLLLYYYY FUUUUCK Weaver gets either +20 mana break or +25% exp at 10. Iiiiiiinteresting buff
WTF Techies mines can move at level 25 Undying gets reincarnation at 25 and a whole lot of other buffs too
It doesn't dispel anymore and has a 15 second cooldown. Pretty huge nerf imo. Heroes like Necro and omni could potentially dominate games if no one on the other team has a dispel ability.
Riki got massively buffed so I would expect a quick gameplay patch nerf in a couple of weeks. Also it already exists with Bane’s nightmare ability so not new
Laning also just got even more important than it did in the last patch. You get fucked so much harder if you lose a lane badly. -Aggro trilanes are about to become a lot more common. -Weak laning heroes like Slark and morphling just got even weaker. (Though morphling is probably going to be played as support now anyway) -Ogre and Timber just got stronger.
Kind of sad MMR resets every 6 months now. Wish there was an option where you could reset it or just keep it where it was.
Denies are so insanely important now. Laning really matters again. If you get dumpstered mid you could easily get outleveled 7 to 4.
New dazzle poison touch looks OP af in lane Reworked Poison Touch. Targets a unit and releases a poison that splashes on nearby targets (like Ethershock targeting). Applies a DPS and a slow to the targeted enemies. Anytime a poisoned target gets attacked, the debuff duration gets refreshed. Deals 10/20/30/40 DPS and slows for 14/16/18/20%. Lasts 4/5/6/7 seconds. Affects up to 4/5/6/7 targets. Cooldown: 35/30/25/20. Mana cost: 80. Cast Range: 600/700/800/900. Physical damage type. Gets refreshed by the same target rules as Blink (player-controlled units and Roshan).
i'd have to re-read the patch notes/wait for someone to explain it, but wouldn't a lot of the carries (especially the strength carries) have a natural immunity towards silences? + the new item that fights off silences.
