Nope. But your mmr resets every 6 months. So now we are all back to the 1K shits we truly are.takes only 10 games to recalibrate so really not that bad. Actually your calibration is based on your actual and hidden mmrs, but people who rarely play and used to be 4K+ are in for a big surprise that they are actually 2K in reality. Also solo and party MMRs are now mixed, so party mmr actually doesn’t exist anymore, but your solo games are apparently weighted much higher, like 2:1 or 3:1 more valuable to your mmr calibration.
Tombstone on death is kind of funny in how bad it can be on undying. Good if you die in the middle of a teamfight while it's still being decided, but if it's at the end of one or you get picked off it's just like, "well, my deaths give 200 more gold now."
Woke up this morning still fucking pissed that the guy first picked pangolier. Also was a little tipsy and was playing waaaaay too aggressive on cyka
Going to be starting Grim Dawn with two friends tonight, looks like another D3/Path of Eternity clone but has gotten pretty good reviews. Feels good having escaped the rat trap of le dotes.
Seems like everyone is calibrating at basically the same as their previous MMR unless you're just massively better or worse. Apparently takes your old mmr heavily into account. Archon 1 is reportedly 3k-ish, got Crusader 3, so probably about right.
Old MMR pre-patch 3023. After get stomped in majority of calibration games, new MMR is 2975, Archon 3. What a stupid ranking change. It means nothing lol. Pretty sure they just started you at your old mmr and had you play 10 ranked games +/- 25 mmr = new mmr
Gyro is becoming one of my favorite carries. Homing missile is a lot less useless now that it doesn't have a cast point and the movement speed/kiting build is really good.
i've been fucking stomping all morning back to back games with absolutely dreadful teammates 3-17, 2-16 roaming supports vs a 30-3-19 mid tinker
0-3 my last 3 calibration games and they've all been stomps good stuff my first 7 i fucking deep dicked tho so i'll prob only end up in 2k instead of 1k
Doesn’t matter much actually, you only change about 2-300 total MMR from prior MMR per reddit stats nerds
Shit like at 2:00 makes you realize pros are just playing a different game than you. He's going to eventually lose a right click battle here, but about 10 seconds in advance he knows exactly how long he can stay alive and when the creep wave is going to get there.
There might only be 1 NA team at TI at this rate, and maybe none if EG doesn’t get their shit together. Right now they’re behind CoL.
Just lost a game because my sniper and spec were hitting jungle creeps while while the enemy veno and LC just bot'd to lane and suicided for racks over and over PUSH LANES YOU MORONS
coL actually had a really good showing at their last lan too and optic had 3 players on EU ping. That's a big win.
Tidehunter Treads Battlefury AC Echo BKB Aghs Take the 40% exp perk because you hit 25 and take the +250dmg perk and are literally a better version of Sven, even with his god strength activated. Or if turbo mode skip 40% exp perk since you farm insanely fast and have 25 by 18 minutes. Courier yourself clarities until you get perseverance for ez farm with anchor smash
Figured it's about time I work on micro. Just been sandboxing for about 15 minutes and am still slow with doing it, but at least am getting the hang of it. The shift de-select command makes it a lot easier.
Slark in turbo mode is fun. Takes 5 minutes to get a shadowblade and then you are in perma hunting mode
forced to low prio because i try to play a game this morning and dota keeps crashing when i hit reconnect bless
I am really bad at roaming. I get so behind on levels early. How do you guys stay relevant by 15 minutes on?
It's kind of expected but as long as you're keeping the other team behind it doesn't matter a whole lot. Also I pick up an early soul ring on pretty much any roamer I play to minimize having to go back to base, and to constantly use spells to farm the occasional jungle camp or creep wave. I kind of think of it as a mini-midas that also gives health regen.
you're gonna stay underleveled until you are able to get a few lanes worth of farm i think i was lvl 5 and everyone else was like lvl 8-9ish, but still had big impact on the game
7 wins in a row, not including the bullshit abandon bc of game crashing i'm gonna fall hard soon iyam
That was a year and a half ago, and losing a lot is the ultimate humbler. (Plus Sumail's status as the best mid has taken a hit lately and he probably can't just join any team he wants like he could have before) Sumail doesn't seem like the type that would move halfway around the world either. If EG splits and the option is Optic with PPD and multiple of Sumail's good friends or the unknown, I would bet he goes with the former.
