Lol. BrickTamland calls it “Keeping your retards alive.” Also, I think Lotus Orb is the most underrated/underused item in pubs, maybe behind HH. It seems like half of pub players don’t even know what Lotus Orbs do, plus the armor is amazing.
The bonus hero damage talent seems so bad, but has such a high winrate. The Only Way To Play Guy inadvertently solved that question of why it’s so good in a video I watched of his, basically if you survived the teamfight and got at least 2-3 hero kills in the area around you, you can basically solo a tower super fast, and with Aghs your team can take rax Like it’s turbo mode. (I still think Aghs is bad)
that wasnt even a good lotus game tbh. by the point in the game where i got it, rupture did nothing to me. but more armor vs BS + PL is always good and if i needed anything that game, it was more mana (especially versus PL's diffusal). so lotus > shivas.
Yeah crimson guard + dmg reduction of underlord + lots of armor makes PL into a mana draining creep. Shivas would help clear illusions though, but can’t use active if you don’t have mana
Also apparently multiple professional offlaners have been spamming Techies recently assuming icefrog puts it back in CM for TI homestretch.

Tower gold and building gold nerfed hard, racks higher HP, glyph longer. Thank God. Less deathball and mids that take a bit to come on line are more viable.
Man, matchmaking has definitely gotten worse. Just took me 8 minutes to get a game of single draft, and got matched against a legend 4 (4k mmr) mid. Never been outplayed so hard, and abandoned.
i deserved better in those games i played very well as AA and did okay as kotl once laning broke down. not much i could do to protect sniper early, though.
Wasn’t planning on anymore dota til TI battlecup but we got 10 inches of snow here today and are snowed in. I’ve won 6 in a row with Riki. Hero is just broken atm, you need 2 items and he’s top 2 in damage output for the game

replace CCnC with sumail (or rtz if he could play mid) and optic would be a tier 1 team imo. pajkatt isnt that good but zai and 33 are standouts.
