3+ hero RPs are one of the best non-echo slam feelings in the game, but the hero is trash for dmg output. Basically you walk around empowering Cores and positioning for RP
Yeah, he's similar to slardar in that way. Really impactful in fights and around the map but your damage is usually very low.

lets recap my night of dota: game 1: i pick venge to amplify a physical carry lineup: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3836871574 mid bloodseeker goes second item bkb but doesnt use it until 35' or 40' or so. never finished an item after shadow blade and bkb (47' game... he was solo mid) and ended with 320 gpm. we had a big advantage but the jugg just farmed and farmed and we never really grouped up. game 2: i pick veno to deal with TA's refraction: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3836922429 our magnus disconnects throughout the game. and our mid gyro goes first item shadow blade and gets owned by a skywrath, who takes over the game. gg. game 3: i'm underlord. thinking i'll just be tanky, sick of losing: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3836975062 we lost top tower to NP/Axe in under 5 minutes. and sniper was level 8 and 3-0 against my level 5 DP at the same time. and i'm getting farm bot but I can't exactly stop a PA and a veno bot from getting their farm, too. this game was basically over within 10 minutes and then we were able to hold high ground for a while and get some dumb kills when DP had her ult. game 4: it was late but i figured i was due for a good game, right? some good teammates? i picked nyx against a lina and a razor and i was encouraged by the communication pre-game, with the slardar talking about his ult giving vision, etc.: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3837010185 our "mid" PA (who didn't go mid originally) went boots only and said he didn't need regen because he buys morbid mask -> mask of madness. so their mid razor steamrolled the game, as you'd expect. i think we lost our mid tower within 6' or so. the talkative slardar missed 95% of his stuns and the game was ultimately op riki + me setting up kills and then sven/riki doing the damage. we actually almost won - it ended up in some sort of weird ass base race where we took top rax and took t4s/damaged their ancient while they took our base. and i think we would have won but sven used some of his god strength to kill the effigy buildings (and PA didnt stick around)... i don't get reported - i've never been to LP - but god knows wtf i have to do to get decent teammates.
Void gets a Shadow blade at 25 minutes and not a single dust bought for the entire team. Not a single ward bought for a 35 minute span. This is why I mostly supported to get out of the 1k cesspool. So many games won and lost just because no one on one team can bear to spend a few hundred gold on anything that isn't damage. Completely thankless role at that mmr (and at higher mmr's than that) but having stupid teammates and winning is way less frustrating than having stupid teammates and losing.
There will be a re-calibration again soon*, it will be interesting if you can calibrate higher this time.
I went like 7-3 averaging 500gpm/xpm as mid last calibration and seeded 150mmr higher than what I was currently at. It's all horse shit

And PA ran away (Lich came back and ulted... but there were creeps there or PA could have used his W spell on Lich). we had no business winning that match but i actually think we could have won it. Both PA and Sven had MoM and PA had deso.
the adventures continue tonight game 1: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3838406163 i farmed a lot. it felt like we were winning. i got my linkins and told the team i was ready to join the fight (i was offlane btw because <1k brackets) and then... we just got rolled. i think sniper got picked off one too many times solo? and visage shredded everyone? and the 1/12 drow fed and fed and fed. oh, and we had a clinkz and every other hero also went shadow blade. that probably didn't help. i'm guessing the net worth lead we built up was just my farming, tbh. i still don't really know how to play medusa though. i went skadi or butterfly to try and get tanky but i would just die after my entire team died. game 2: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3838463041 riki + me (clinkz) were countered pretty hard by their bh + zeus + bs picks so in a way this was a draft loss. the game was on a clock, though, because they had an AM + a zeus and the AM was given an aghs from the alch, too, so we had no real way to shut him down. i tried to build for a beat-backdoor-protection thing but i would've needed to farm more/go mid. game 3: https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3838531756 one more quick game before bed because my last two have been shitty. this one turned into a 90 minute game and it's now 2:30 AM. literally every hero became six-slotted so but it was basically zeus + me (void) versus their team less tinker (who sucked). they had lion/ck for stuns versus our pudge (who i laned with) that didn't even buy a single lane ward to help with hooks. instead, he was trying to last hit. oh, and he went phase boots. i think i probably fucked up in going 25% backtrack instead of the chrono aoe talent - maybe we could have won with zeus and i just pumping out damage in the chrono - but i had to get aghs so i could team fight more and i ended up just not having the slots for a ton of damage. void is really challenging to build. i went mjollnir (CK illusions), MoM (farm/solo damage), butterfly, aghs, nullifier, bkb, etc. maybe going for daedalus + bfury or something would've been better. or a linkins instead of bkb. anyways, we would have miraculously won, too, if we had better coordination but shaman didnt ever want to leave high ground. at one point, we killed CK x2 and were hitting their t4 and had it down to <20% but shaman was in our high ground defending against creeps despite all of us having TPs. we literally never had a five-man push to their ancient. and with them having the side lanes always pushed (somehow with a SS, we never got the top T1/T2 and bot T2 and decided to always just push mid for the gg push), it was just hard to ever make coordinate something. (shaman also didnt micro his wards...)
You got smurfed in game 1. There is a 0% chance a 1k mmr visage can micro 4 birds and a HoD effectively enough to dominate a game. Edit: He has 2000 matches played at a 63% win rate and is a guardian 0. lul
i had +34 what you talking about willis. our mid was 0-7 at like 10min, and our bot was like 1-10 around the same time it was awful
I love All Hero Challenge, but every now and then I get a hero I hate and want to uninstall dota. I just got done with Windranger, who is fucking awful right now. You have to get Aghs to be even remotely useful to the team, and yet if your opponent gets a blademail you instantly kill yourself since every other hero in the game has more hp than you do. Also I have PTSD from the hero trying to complete the TI6 challenge on the hero to unlock the custom hero set. Fucking 3+ multi-hero stuns in a win challenge, took me 17 games to do.
Yeah I've been bitching about this forever. You need at least like a maelstrom/aghs to come online which is so late for a mid. Then after you get it the other team gets mkb's 5 minutes later and you die in 3 hits because you can't afford to buy any items that aren't mobility or damage. Plus being forced into an aghs on a right click carry is so awful. There isn't another hero of that type that has to buy one. Only way the hero is viable again is getting rid of her aghs and making focus fire useable without it. Every one of her spells and her talents have been buffed and buffed for ages, and she's still terrible bc the problem is the aghs, not the skills.

33 had a great DS game earlier where he just tripulled their bot lane at :30,1:00,1:30 and killed all of them kiting, and then killed their doom and disruptor while kiting the creeps at lvl 2. It was amazing
Yeah DS is gonna be a popular offlaner again. The AOE surge talent is amazing as is the ion shell damage if you hit 25. (240 AOE DPS jfc) Almost 4 radiances stacked on top of eachother. Also TB is still the most popular carry in the game, and ion shell makes his life suck in lane.
He is being sarcastic. The entire radiant team got fatal bonded together, so underlord gets killed, they get hurt. But, instead of just dying, underlord eats the cheese, and so then fatal bonds has another 3K HP underlord to distribute more fatal bonds damage to his teammates. Effectively, eating the cheese killed his entire team.
There was a point near last TI where fatal bonds was legitimately OP and Warlock was picked/banned in almost every game, and entire teams would just melt with only fatal bonds, Golem ult, and then your team jumping in and hitting the initiator/tank.
It was when veno was OP too, so teams would pick him and warlock and bonds everyone into a poison nova; aka everyone hit by nova was doing damage to everyone else for the entire duration. Think they changed the way bonds worked after that ridiculousness.
