why? the current meta says safe/mid/off/support x2 is best but whose to say that is optimized forever? or for every draft?
Those don't change. It's just the way people play them that changes with the meta. All they really apply to is farm priority/support items responsibility/importance of giving them a good lane. -There's always going to be 1 core that has top priority for getting a good lane to make sure he comes online. (Carry) -1 core that a team intends to lane alone most of the time who is against a solo core on the enemy team. (Mid) -1 core that gets the difficult lane and doesn't need as much farm/helping is not heavily prioritized. (offlane) -1 support that generally helps wherever is needed, moves around the most, and buys wards if the hard support can't or if the hard support is really close to an item they need. Doesn't farm a lane if any core is in the lane with him. (Soft Support) -1 support that buys the majority of the wards, detection, and items the team needs. Lanes with Carry and has the lowest farm priority on the team. (hard support) Changes in the meta means that sometimes offlane is solo, sometimes the 4 trilanes, sometimes the 4 jungles (Hasn't been that way for a long time), sometimes the offlane dual lanes with a static 4. When you pick a position all you're doing is picking your farm priority and how difficult your lane will be.

Yeah I think my highest BP level was 350 last year for the IO arcana, I don’t usually go crazy. The mid season sale is usually a good time to get cheap levels
Of course, Riki is my best hero and I have an 80% win rate with it in turbo but when I need to for the stupid cavern quest I lose 4 games in a row
Riki is my best too, and I suck with him. RIP. Think my problem is i never played the game consistently, always like a few months then quit for 7-9 and then i have to relearn how to play. Plus 80% of the time i play I'm drunk. It's amazing i dont have reports on my record.
Yeah that’s my problem too. I always buy the international battle pass to support the game because I love watching the international. When I play for 1-2 months during that time, the game always has changed so much it’s almost too much to adjust. Luckily I’m in the trench where the game really never changes...
Turbo is nice for relearning the game. If you are awful and feed, you only have a miserable 20 minute game instead of 40+
I probably would. There's basically zero down time because teams are always fighting, so it's the best way to get your muscle memory back on the keyboard.
Key to turbo: don’t farm neutrals. Jungle exp/gold is waaaay reduce compared to creeps and heroes so just be wherever action is. TP cooldown is halved so always able to TP to fights. If you get a pushing lineup you can end in 8-10 minutes with good teamwork.
EG loses to Keen Gaming and gets 5th. Welp, not completely but almost eliminates them from TI automatic qualifying unless they win or get second place at the super major
I love ppd and want to root for optic, but i only like him and Zai. I cant get behind the others. Ideally ppd ends up with Sumail again in a perfect world but i dont see it. NA dota being any kind of threat is probably over for now.
EG doesn't have any playmakers, their shot calling is shit, they're wasting their most talented player in the offlane, fear while being a legend definitely doesn't have it anymore. His impact in losses has been so bad. Rtz only seems to do well when he's playing from being ahead. Team is a mess, and is boring to watch. Im going to enjoy the tournament this weekend cause i can just watch good dotes and not have to be invested in a team.
i dont care about pajkatt and i actively dislike ccnc but 33 is one of the most talented players in dota.. i'll be sad for ppd when the upcoming secret disband results in puppey poaching him.
Not too familiar with him then if being honest. So they have their 3-5 sorted. They severely need a better carry and mid.
33 is amazing. Was really skeptical when they brought him on but he’s ridiculously good. Him and Zai are so talented. I think they are a Tier 1 midlander away from being a contender at good tournaments and a mid/carry combo away from being elite.(which is 40% of the team, but still)
Pretty good chance if EG doesn't top 8 and has to go thru quals they don't make it. Optic and VGS are both capable of knocking them off.
EG had their chances and flubbed them, but they probably do have some gripes about their luck in draws. Constantly got secret/liquid/VP in the quarterfinals.

Yeah anyone who is looking to level BP is playing turbo. Cavern games count there so it's like tripled in popularity. Our TMB stack plowed through a bunch tonight
Best part about turbo is 100% bans. You can literally ban slark every single game if desired. That’s what I do to zeus

Only played a couple times but my experience is that people don't realize how powerful spirit siphon is and will often just feed you kills trying to go on you.
