King back to mid. I saw the Alch and was like NotLikeThis. They used to lose picking him and playing against him. But that was a fun ass alch game.
No, they just had a terrible lineup vs an alch. Blink axe and Aghs focus fire WR were the only possible ways to kill alch with their lineup and crit countered Axe with ET, and WR wasn’t a core so had no farm. Alch is still a bad hero vs most lineups
you're very lucky about 2 years ago (before the illusion nerf), alch was very core and OG won multiple majors by playing alch, getting manta, and sending illusions at buildings over and over until the chip damage finally took the buildings down.
Immortals basically picked the mid hero that gives TA the worst matchup in the game and Sumail still dumpstered him. MP might have to think about retiring after that
I would say half that and half really good team fights from Optic. Some really good song combos and Pajkatt doppel'd approximately 63,324 spells.
At work, been sneaking into my office to catch score/net worth, so them somehow winning both of those games was super confusing. -20K nw game 1 and -12K nw behinds aegis and cheese game 2. Might have to VOD those comebacks later
Now that the hub is almost over. Synderen is at the very tippy top of all this shit, dude is elite. He's funny, smart, and just all around awesome. I know he'll be at TI, but my love for him is up there with WinteR and Grant.
I like what Optic is doing to counter the naga song/hammer. Take clock and stay way back so you can hookshot in and interrupt the channel.
game 2 wasn't a throw imo. col didn't get enough done with their brood lineup and both brood and bloodseeker kind of do the same thing and can't easily walk up and hit buildings. optic did a really good job of stalling out the game but they were going to win that game if it went 40+ minutes pretty assuredly, anyways.

Lich is really strong again I think. A value point in ice armor gives 4 armor for 40 seconds, seems really good with0 mana sacrifice. Lich also can function with only tranqs, and then just build whatever utility items needed
I would bet he starts getting picked when teams want to play a carry that doesn't need the lane sustain of WD/Warlock/Wyvern, like Lycan/jugg/BS. The 1-1-1 build looks very good now.
Other thoughts: -Alchemist is back . That extra stack duration + the higher cap might not seem like much, but it's a lot. It's so much easier to maintain high levels of stacks now, especially in the early game when alch doesn't farm near as fast. -Midas is buy-able again on a few heroes. 5 seconds off the cooldown in each of the last 2 patches. -Clinkz lvl 1 strafe cooldown is a big buff. Now you can get a couple points in skeleton walk earlier and have a much bigger presence all over the map. -Necro got decently buffed, but the introduction of Aeon Disk pretty much ruined him. I think he's gonna be bad until significant changes are made to the hero or the way it's played. -NS's lane is so bad now he's finally dead.
honestly, the sentry buff from a couple of patches ago was really impactful towards limiting invis heroes. if everyone buys a few sentries and puts them near pathway intersections, heroes like riki and clinkz can get picked off pretty easily.
I really like playing it as a poverty 4 because you eat creeps away from the carry, keep wave close to your tower, ice armor protects your 3 while you harass with nuke. I like Lich is better as a 4 then a 5 tbh. Plus then you can help with wards/sentries and still get Aghs/blink/glimmer/mek/solar crest/force etc. My favorite build during HotD OP meta was Puppey who would go tranqs into HotD. Extra aura, extra siege creep, can sacrifice for mana if needed, etc. it’s still good but not as OP as it was in that meta.
Just comes down to personal preference I guess. I like 5 just because he's so impactful even when poverty.

Tbh that was an abysmal draft but they never punished us for catching up on farm and our smoke ganks were great since we had great team fights with chrono, ravage and CM ult with Zeus damage. Also sorry that I gave Handcuffed CM and they insta picked pudge lol. That’s a miserable fucking game
